Total divi for 2019 was 3.37p, ...5% increase for 2020 would be 3.53p, and considering everything that's going at the moment, that is not bad, but I hope A1 is correct instead.
Brilliant post A1, the doomsters will be along anytime soon. Total divi for rest of calender year..4.272p for every single share....what's not to like.
If a progressive & sustainable quarterly dividend is more appealing than capital growth, then your answer is neither of these big oilies,...it is without doubt LLOYDS, which you can now pick up at the absolute bargain SP of 50.12p
Total divi for year increase= 5%, final for this year= 2.25p Divi for June/sept/dec = 0.674p SP increased 3.05% @ 8.22am. A welcome sense of relief all round, cushdy.
On the lloyds website in the FAQ section it states.....the first 3 divi,s (june/sept/dec) will be 20% of the previous year total. No mention of "at least" anywhere.
