The vote for the common market in the 70s was never for this. If our elders knew then what has come about now we would never be discussing this as we would never have been in the EU
I voted remain which now looked to be poor judgement, .The whole concept of the EU could quite well come off the wheels if we actually leave so what's the point of staying in.
I agree with this , the hassle trump is causing is having a direct effect on the markets worldwide.
China exports had dropped 20 percent last month, trump will think he is winning so could well squeeze more on the chinese. Trump will start to focus on the EU then mainly the German auto industry soon so the markets wont be getting better anytime e soon.
Couldnt care a monkey for divs, give me a good increase on the share and I will be out . Hopefully with today's news we push upwards for a few weeks now
DHC in fairness we havnt really got that much going in with production tho although we have plenty to come. Expecting the share to move up when we are only putting out two tankers a day is a bit over enthusiastic. The SP managed to hold it's own last week and at this moment in time that's all I expect. Maybe a bit or PR by SS and it may make a jolt upward but until those wells are producing we maybe stuck in the mud.
If the price keeps going down then it's a great opportunity to get back in imho, waiting to see if I can catch it when it looks like its bottoming out. Bristow's has his eye on other things at the moment so see how the SP plays out
I would tell the old lady to invest in UKOG so she could get her money back on what she has list on her home value,,,,,that's if she lives long enough .

I was reading about Apollo earlier and was starting to think the share is kept in this range for possible percentage of PMO if the Chevron deal is won. Due to the debt they wont buy into PMO at say £1.50 but will buy a percentage at 75 p, then sub out the work to PMO whilst taking another cut of profit.
Not sure how it works but maybe, my worry is what if the bid fails and the price of oil drops .
I bailed on this at £2.50 my initial target was £2.60 for my strategy but decided to get out. It's on my watchlist so if it keeps dropping nicely I may get back in.
