As stated previously - Major global mining companies typically consider certain conditions regarding JV partnerhip feasibility, such as:
1. Massive scale / volume in place
2. Good competitive grades
3. Shallow deposits vs. deeper ones
4. Safe jurisdiction
5. Located close to main infrastructure and ports
6. Large prospects with potential exploration upside
7. Sufficient cash in the bank
8. Low overhead costs
9. Competent team in place
10. Proven geological/metalurgical setting in wider area
And so on
Empire already does seem to tick many of these boxes if you look closely. It is going to be an interesting time ahead.

And we're turning blue again...
I have got a decent stake here and not selling a single share until true market cap value will be reflected, which is significantly higher than today's. Pitfield starts to unfold as a true world class deposit. Foremost large scale c/w reasonably good economic grades is what the majors are after in a safe jurisdiction.

Smaller aerospace suppliers scramble for titanium, workers in shadow of travel boom

A few weeks ago I did a rough ore in situ calculation comparing Empire with a number of other TiO2 miners both Ozzie and non-Ozzie. That was based on what we knew at that time, ore body 2km x 800m x 150m and even taking a conservative approach. Now as I am currently abroad I don't have the data at hand, but even then Empire could compete easily with the say 80-120 Million AUD market cap companies taking into account size and grades. This week we learned the entire discovery could be in terms of size significantly larger i.e. factor anywhere between say 20-30 up to much higher than what we knew before.
Mind boggling really...
Good morning all.
Yesterday's RNS is another confirmation/step in the right direction of Pitfield being further derisked. We're not there yet, but latest indications bode very well in terms of massive scale and mineral composition.
Slowly but surely it will now start to become really attractive for Majors to consider setting up a JV with Empire also considering the growing global TiO2 demand.
"We believe Pitfield is truly unique in its scale and character, and I am confident that with further exploration success and studies we can demonstrate that this is a world leading discovery of titanium rich mineralisation which will have globally significant economic value."
Note how the words "potential" is now being replaced by "confident" and "will have..."
Today's RNS is another game changer.
Shaun Bunn, Managing Director, said: "It is very exciting to see the results from our initial petrographic and mineralogical studies, confirming the presence of ilmenite within this exceptional titanium-rich mineral system. We have a magnetics anomaly covering 40km by 8km, whose core is 30km long and extends to a depth of at least 6km. This magnetics anomaly appears to be coincidental with the currently known extent of the ilmenite mineralisation.
