I think the current price of 0.14p is a reflection of negative sentiment and nothing more and that when sentiment turns, UKOG is due for a very sharp bounce, certainly initially.

I recently suggested a range of 0.60-0.70p, but there is nothing very scientific about this range, it simply integrates the possibility of the beginnings of some positive outcomes amongst UKOG's various projects.

Goodwill is totally unavoidable in an economic world that moves.

Book asset values may not be ideal but they are the only figures we have and are based on clearly-defined accounting policies.

Imho, the figure of 0.38p (net book assets at 31/03/20/today's issued capital) is, therefore, the best figure we have.

PS: one of their accounting policies means they review book asset values for impairment on at least an annual basis.

UKOG's accounting policies are clearly explained in their last annual report.

Without goodwill, a large part of the economic world would come to a grinding halt.

The advantage of the net book assets figure of 0.38p per share (net book assets at 31/03/20/today's issued capital) is that it exists, there is no other figure available to work on.

Those who argue a discount should be applied in order to value UKOG need to define the size of the appropriate discount and why: 20%? 30%? ...

At today's share price of 0.14p, the discount is 62.2%.

A 30% discount would give a share price of 0.27p.

Sentiment will turn when enough PIs come to the conclusion this share can go up.

It was a very long decline followed by about 4 months of stabilisation at these low levels, the recovery could be pretty brutal, especially at the start.

The graph shows that UKOG has, effectively, stabilised during the last 4 months, the long decline appears to have finally stopped.

There doesn't seem to be any fundamental reason for UKOG to be quoted at 0.14p, it seems to be a matter of sentiment.

Sentiment can change very quickly, indeed.

2020 was a thoroughly disappointing year, 2021 may prove a much better one.

Imho, the negativity needs to be related to the share price.

If lists of negative factors are posted regardless of the share price, then it is a source of information but not necessarily of any help in forming an opinion on the share's prospects.

Have to go back 15 months+ to October 2019 to find another close at 1.25p (10/10/19) and a higher close (09/10/19: 1.30p).

Think the next RNS re Turkey is likely to concern the application for 3 new licences.
