Imho, he is highly unlikely to surrender this gain for nothing.

But SS does own 85m options, currently valued at about £1.7m.

If we take the middle of that range, 20x, and assume 2018 earnings of 40c, that gives us 800c for Genel or, at $1.3 to the £, 615p.

Interesting maths:

with Brent at about $85, reckons profit per barrel will be about $60.

Each 100 barrels per day = c£1.6m of profit.

2/ it's in the nature of oil exploration that UKOG's share price be volatile.
