It's not easy to forward sell stock before the acquisition has even been completed!

For ages, UKOG was classified under "technology" or some similar heading, a legacy of its stock market origins.

Just noticed it is now classified under Oil & Gas Producers.

For myself, therefore, the interview of last year underlay the subsequent rise in the share price to around 300p.

Today's interview is the 2nd time I've seen Bill Higgs, Genel's COO, being interviewed by Malcy, the previous one going back almost a year, to 28/03/18.

For a few days, the share price (about 175p at the time) showed little reaction.

About 2 months later, the stock was around 300p.

Would like ANGS to advance Brockham and Balcombe as quickly as they can, in order to provide further confirmation of the concept of the Weald basin.

Twice as big in 12-18 months' time:

that's the kind of growth one associates with an internet start-up!

And which tends to command a high rating in the market.

In Genel's case, obviously, as an oil company, there's no point extrapolating that kind of rate of growth year in, year out over the next several years.

Nevertheless, it does raise the question: what is the appropriate rating for Genel?

Malcy is a bit taken aback by the COO's response, but the COO confirms what he's said by continuing:

"... which I don't think is unreasonable, ...".

"Where would you like to see the company in 12 to 18 months' time?".

"Twice as big!" (and he wasn't joking).
