Good afternoon, gentlemen and gentlemenesses
Haven’t posted for a while but have been invested in iag since February as someone new to the stock market. Have made a good bit since then but have grown a bit tired of this small rollercoaster ride. The last few months have given me a glimpse of what eternity may be like and so it is with some reluctance that I am jumping ship. I really do think iag is an excellent long term proposition but I have been monitoring other possibilities. I am too much of a novice in this game to know the correct etiquette but having done a bit of background research I have decided to go **** or bust with ticker znwd ( Zinnwald lithium). It is a mining organisation which has a licence to mine lithium in southern Germany very close to the VW plant. Electric batteries and all that.
Prices are around the25p mark and the omens look very good. I think it was someone on this board that alerted me to this stock so if it was then many thanks.
Obviously do your own investigations and I could come back crying in a few weeks but at present it looks good. Also the blogs tend to go into deep details of mining licences and metal prices but it does make a welcome change from vaccination chatter.
No doubt wiser heads will think this a poor move but I am just posting to suggest one or two of you may wish to have a look at znwd.
As always I hope you are all successful in whatever you choose and I repeat that long term I have no fears that you will make money with iag. It’s just that I think it can be done a lot quicker with znwd. Do a bit of investigation.
I shall continue to read the iag board as it has become a way of life for the last five months and I wish you all well (including fuggy).
Byee.
Many thanks, chaps/chapesses.
Greatly appreciated. I look forward to making a bit along with the rest of you. Good luck to you all.
Good morning all.
I am a new subscriber to this board and am looking for some advice. I trade through my son who has an account with the app trading 212. I asked him to buy znwd shares yesterday but he was advised by trading 212 that we could not buy straight " off the shelf" but had to wait for an "auction". I am very keen to buy. Could anyone please advise as the sp is going through the roof. Would you advise me to buy via a conventional trader or would I still have to wait for an auction?
How frequent are these auctions and how do they work?
Any advice would be most gratefully received.
Many thanks.

100% correct on your first post. Well said.
It's all numberwang and waffle. Share prices are mathematically discontinuous functions of time and investors' jitters. There is absolutely no mathematics to predict with any certainty the day to day fluctuations of prices apart from a general very long term view.
Anyone who believes he can predict to within a value of one pence it terms of short term value is sadly deluding themselves and others if they are gullible enough to believe them.
Just sit back and over the months and IAG will slowly rise. Full stop. That's all. If shares were mathematically predictable then universities across the world would be teaching the theory and the bulk of us could get very rich.
Ditch the waffle about Fibonacci series, candles etc. It all means zip.
Reminds me of global warming ,sorry, climate change where enough drivel can influence the masses.
Sit back and enjoy the (very) slow gradual rise in value. Good luck to all ye especially those who only like waffles for breakfast.
Keep going, bb. There seems to be a growing tranche of wokes on this site who cannot stand the fact that the great majority are sick and tired of political correctness and are oblivious of the backlash they are n great danger of unleashing. Brits on the whole are pretty reasonable but this crap that pours out of the leftist media day after day will eventually cause big problems . The British like moderation not the extremes coming from embedded civil servants in Whitehall.
Saw the BBC’s news at ten last night with a piece by their “environmental” correspondent David Shuckman. He was standing in an opencast coal mine somewhere (missed where it was) in the uk.
He then shot up a so called graph of climate change which indicated that the Earth’s temperature had been more or less static since its formation four and a half billion years ago and then over the last two hundred years it had spiked massively according to his “graph”.No account of the huge swings in temp. over the planet’s lifetime- the sole intent of his disinformation was to “prove” we are on a one way trip to oblivion. Absolute disgrace.
Sorry about this again but I ended up throwing the wife at the tv. The bbc obviously has a departments for funny graphs somewhere deep in its bowels.
Boris should hold a public enquiry into whether there’s any point in David Shuckman.
Going back to sleep now.
Hope next week brings deep joy and profits to believers and disbelievers alike. No numberwanging here.
All the breast.
Just read that the housing market " is on the boil", up 7%on the year. Remember the leg end George Osborne saying that if we left Europe our homes would drop in value by something like 40% ( can't remember the exact figure) and he was the chancellor? Why is no one calling him out to justify his lousy predictions?
Typical lousy politician. Bring in the army or possibly someone from the Cromwell family (although Olly did keep a parliamentary rump). I'm afraid that politics, economics, climate change (aaaarrrgghhh) and many other fields of human endeavour are bogus sciences. Just look at experts' economic forecasts from the past. The great majority are way wide of the mark e.g. Osborne.
Sorry to grind on. Where's my money going?
Jolly good luck to you all.
It was very significant when the name was changed from global warming to climate change. The earth's climate has never been static -why should such a complex system be static?
To say that there is climate change cannot be proved beyond the point that thus it ever was.
It's akin to saying that the sp will always change. We know that. There is one general trend and that is up both for sp and temperatures (at present).
Sorry once again.
Will go back to head burying in the sand.
Adios
Couldn’t agree more. That plus our grandchildren having to take out large mortgages just to buy an electric car and the country’s generating capacity being unable to keep up with demand I really do feel sorry for generations down the line.
Anyway, sorry for digging up an old bone.
Feel better now.

Why so much ANGER on these boards?
It doesn't matter that someone thinks differently from you.
The mighty Shakespeare sums life up beautifully in Macbeth:
Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more.
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury
Signifying nothing.
I suppose it says that we all rant and in the long run what we have to say is pretty unimportant. So come on chaps and chapesses. Less anger and less numberwang.
Enjoy the day and don't strut and fret too much.
The viagra is kicking in for the sp but sadly not for me.
