Excellent article and one of the most succinct summaries of the Hui10 opportunity.

They have just announced their funding which is neither fish nor fowl. A right b*ggers muddle.

If the City/UK were truly interested in building companies of scale in this sector they would as an initial starter look to combine VRCI with RENX and GENI. All are chronically undercapitalised all are spending too much maintaining an AIM listening and corporate salaries. You would at least have a cutting edge diagnostic group with multiple shots on target. Sadly greedy advisors idiotic tax law and management ego will prevent this particular kite from flying.

The delay will no doubt relate to Going Concern issues which will require the completion of the fundraising I guess.

Since the end of COVID investing in Life Science companies has been a disaster. So Verici does not stand alone as part of the 99% club - there are many such as GDR GENI RENX to name but a few and that doesn't include the many delistings along the way . In the vast majority of companies the fundamental science and opportunity is sound so what is it that has undermined the sector. I would argue is a fundamental structural problem in financing life science growth companies in the UK and that is the lack of a continuity of capital combined with the myopia of the City. Verici has absolutely suffered from this and continues to suffer from this trousers down approach to funding.

In response to the disparaging of Sara Barrington it is unhelpful to say the least. I have known her for over ten years and she is straightforward honest and hardworking and with appropriate Board support she will guide Verici to an exit within the next 30 months assuming the last funding round can be put in place. Verici has a better offering than CareDX and can ultimately displace them - their market cap is over $1 billion.

Keep the faith and continue to support the Company through its next funding round and do not the City spivs undermine the Company any further.

I was about to say that I recognise the risks in achieving the significant increase in value but they do have a great management team capable of executing their plan given the cash they have raised.

However I think the momentum in terms of share support will come from China as opposed to the UK as the vast majority of non-indexed UK institutions will not get it past their compliance departments.

I disagree. Most UK investors will not play unless forced to by indexation. The geopolitical risk is perceived as too high.

Today's announcement will enable what is effectively Hui10 to accelerate their growth in China with the concomitant growth in the share price by enabling Chinese investors a route and mechanism to invest that being on the specialist fund segment did not allow. I would expect this to be trading at a significant multiple of the current share price by the end of 2027

The acquisition has been made for good strategic reasons.

This share will turn on a dime once the first major contract is announced . Major being defined as a contract greater than £10m.

Watch this space.

What were the Auditors doing? They need to be held to account.

IIG have followed through quickly on their fundraise and they now have the oxygen in their tank to execute their plan in a timely fashion. Well done to the IIG team.

Good to see continued momentum. I am increasingly confident that the team will deliver. The market has still to fully grasp the importance of last week's announcement.

Completely undervalued. Given the high incidence of cardiac arrest having a greater understanding of one's risk can provide pivotal information to both the patient and the clinician. I am amazed by the disproportionate valuation difference between cardio related Dx companies and oncology related Dx companies - the penny will finally drop.
