The 8,500,000 is split Marlborough Micro-Cap 7,000,00 and Marlborough Nano-Cap 1,500,000 as at 2nd May. I did ask why they reduced their holding but not prepared to discuss. Nor prepared to answer any future plans.
The current Marlborough holdings are:
IFSL Marlborough UK Micro Cap – 12,000,000
IFSL Marlborough Nano Cap – 1,900,000

125K for me. Holding for divis or sale.
It was over £17 in January.
Yep, similar, albeit not quite as many as you! 2.5M.
If Teck are selling, I wonder if we will see Sepanta Dorri move on?
Similarly in September 2020, an employee exercised options with no price being given.
Hi Wasa, you mentioned your discussion with SR. Was there any comment about why they raised more than we anticipated and if JM is going to do one of his interviews any time soon?
New HZM message out-Horizonte CEO, Jeremy Martin commented: “The receipt of formal credit and board approvals from two export credit agencies for the guarantee of a large component of the Senior Debt Facility is an outstanding achievement for Horizonte.
The Cannacord holding of 168m shares are the 2 Marlborough micro and nano cap Funds.
Hi mesb48, I hold some of the Micro Cap fund, and asked the Data guys at Marlborough for an update on its HZM holding.
He added detail about the NanoCap fund for a complete picture which was helpful.
Thought it may be of interest to some, what Marlborough's current position is in terms of what they hold and where, in HZM today. Back on 8th Feb 2021 the Micro Cap fund held 100M shares. It now holds 116,503,448. But, in addition their Nano Cap fund has taken a position at 52,426,552 shares. So in total 9.94% of the issued share capital. I believe these holdings are shown on the significant shareholders register as canaccord.
Morning all, I emailed Anna Legge at the company this morning, with the following reply. She confirmed I may post this here.
"Morning Anna, I, along with a large number of other private investors, note David Halls comment that we will be updated "later in the year". Whilst I accept that Q2 is later in the year, the phrase instils discomfort in the time line, and whether it has stretched beyond end of Q2.
In addition, there was expectation that there would be news on the cornerstone investor by end of Q1.
Any comments as always, much appreciated.
Reply: "Our target completion date for the full project finance package remains to be by the end of H1 this year.
As you’re aware there are multiple components of this finance package. Until alignment is finalised across the entire package each component remains conditional and commercially sensitive. It is on this basis that we will not being announcing additional details on parts of the package.
We fully appreciate your appetite for news during this critical, and very exciting time for the Company. However, to ensure we deliver the best possible finance package it is critical to our negotiations that we keep this commercially sensitive information confidential.
We appreciate your continued support and patience, and would like to reiterate our confidence in being able to deliver this milestone. We are working hard to achieve this, and we will keep you updated as and when we are able."
The following is the reply. "I can confirm that our Marlborough Micro Cap fund does hold 100m shares in Horizonte Minerals, so our fund holds 6.90%.
The fund manager would be the ones to report this and therefore this would have been submitted by Hargreave Hale / Canaccord".
The point of the original posting was that it is nice to see a professional fund manager holding shares.
I have looked at the 31.7.2018 accounts and no HZM holding, whereas 31.7.2019 shows 97,250,000 shares. Will let you know Marlborough's response idc.
Well, I have emailed them to check, and on current holding, but it shows 100M with a value of £3.4M which it would have been around 31.7.2020. This represented 0.32% of the fund's net assets.
Morning all, I hold the above fund as part of my overall portfolio. I enquired whether they hold HZM, which they confirmed they do. The latest available fund breakdown shows them holding 100,000,000 shares at 31st July 2020. In the sector, Industrial metals and mining, they also hold Kenmare, Landare, Tricorn and Trifast. HZM was the largest value holding. Just for info.
Some of the significant shareholder percentages have changed a little, since the last update at 30th Sept.
