If you search YouTube for Vanadium there is a PV magazine interview 6.55 long where the interviewee claims UET is a subsidiary of Rongke Power.I knew I'd heard this before and have suggested it on here but was told by somebody (can't remember who but it was somebody generally better informed than me) that this wasn't the case. Can anyone shed any light on the reality?

There is a few on this BB who could do that job to pretty good effect. Interesting how they don't mention they are predominantly (at this stage) a miner. Gearing up for the big VRFB push. The next couple of years are going to be amazing.

Redleader, its not a case of the company wanting to sell. But if the hostile buyers get sufficient agreement from the shareholders (who own the company) then they have no choice. At 57 years of age and with pretty much my whole retirement resting on my holding here (and having been here since October 2013) I believe the people on this board- those who post and those who don't- have enough clout, faith and resolution to repel a hostile bit. However, everybody has there price. Me included. I could live with £10.00 but I wouldn't be happy about it. £3.00 is too derisory to contemplate. All in my own opinion.

I'm not so sure the LTH would swallow £3.00 a share. I wouldn't and given the huge depth of knowledge here and the fact that most of us literally live and breathe this share I wouldn't be at all surprised if such an offer was rejected. £10.00 maybe. I could live with that (though I wouldn't be happy about it) but if we got to such a price within 2-3 years i can see that being knocked back too.

Let me think about that. A mine bringing employment and investment into an area. Workers and management spending money in the community. What are the community going to think about that? I would suggest there is no reason for concern.

Well a predictable SP drop on good news. However, you wouldn't expect any serious investor to buy without doing a bit of research so I'm sure it will attract investment in time. Regarding the electrolyte of choice it's worth remembering that UET are owned by Rongke so we undoubtedly have access to Chinese technology and they are the worlds forerunners in VRFB's
