Mararab I understood the debt to be €20b so BH all accounts IAG could reduce this to circa €5b. Why would IAG request a share reissue? They could virtually wipe their debt out next year.

@fordm. Yes you’d think the news would’ve pushed the sp up. Why IAG are sitting on €12b cash with €20b debt is probably the biggest factor. They could get debt down to €5b in the blink of an eye on Thursday if reports are correct. Why are they doing this?
Div hasn’t stopped other SP rises. I’m trying to figure if airlines are worth investing in. The article posted suggests everything I’ve thought relating to airlines. Pre covid prices if reached again would make it worth it obvs
