Manos. I was here in the halcyon days of 23p a share and Landau's plan to take on Shell. Then Welshy turned up and it all went south. His graphs were legendary and his analysis of TA and L1 trades was a sight to behold. Never could take criticism though. Angry little man !!!
Haven't read or posted for ages. But just checked in for old times sake and cannot believe this sham of a company is still hanging on in there. I assume the Welsh windbag has been banned. Shame, his ridiculous posts used to brighten my day. Oh well. I'll check in again in another year. By which time I expect the forum to be shut down as hopefully there won't be a company to discuss !!!
Hi SS1. I got taken for about 50K here. But that was my greed. I was over 400K up at at one point. But didn't use my head and watched it all drift away, thinking it would come back again. As much as I would love to see Gappy and his gang taken to the cleaners because of what they did to others, I can't blame anyone for my losses other than myself for letting greed get in the way of rationality. So I wont be joining the crusade, but I wish you and the others who are, all the very best
Well I for one thought I had seen everything with Range under Gappy's stewardship and beyond. But I never thought of the final act in this whole sorry mess would be the purchase of a Chinese pre school education facility. I know what Bobo thinks, as he is over on WS. But I too would like to hear the final words of wisdom from the old timers who were around when I was. AV, the Dog, AndyMK and many others. Good night all. Nov!!!
Yes Phil, guilty as charged. Remember when I had 2.2 million of these at 23p. Sold the last million eventually for 1.2 p. Me and Bobo were discussing which colour Lamborghinis to buy at one point. Still, money's only something you need in case you don't die tomorrow!!!
Hi again Bounty. I believe, a few month ago, that I read the current BOD maybe voted down at the next AGM. I may be wrong on that, so apologise up front if I am. This would throw another dynamic into the ring, where it seems the big investors who bought in at 0.08p as I recall, are just tossing the dice and will bring in another board to try and salvage their investment. What any company on the brink needs is consistent management with incremental and progressive results. This may well already be happening based on the Indonesian project update recently and I hope it is for all invested here. TT actually saved Range from going under years ago and was the only good thing Landau ever did. With the failure of Puntland and Georgia, Range would have folded years ago without the TT lifeline. But it was always just a life line, and was never going to be a significant generator of profit IMHO, as I posted at the time. They now need to break out of the apathy and start ramping up production, anywhere they can. Range needs a spark, based on fact not fantasy, as happened in the past. That will lead to better communications with the outside world and new investor interest. They can't just bumble along hoping positive sentiment and renewed vigor will miraculous reappear.
Hi bounty. You too are a reasonable fellow who quite rightly has the right to post your opinions and comments as well. My take on current Range (and I'll try not to let the past influence my views as much as I can, Considering what we all went through in the past)... I liken the current Range Board to a trophy company, controlled by rich people who like the idea of owning an Oil Company. Similar to when a foreign consortium takes control of a lower league football team. A bit of a hobby, which could come off but could also fail. If it comes off, then great. If it doesn't, then they can walk away having been paid handsomely while in situ. The debt is staggering, regardless of whether future income can service it. This was once an investment based on lies. It is now an investment based on luck and can they pull off a lucky boxers punch while they are on the ropes? Who knows. Good luck all. Nov!!!
Spot on CH. I said I would only post if I saw something worth commenting on and this is one of those times. You have every right to post your opinion. So to ask you to do so and then slate you for it is pathetic. I don't agree with almost anything you believe is happening. But that's not the point. It is freedom of speach and expression of opinion that matters. That is what debate is. I do not know why you engage with these people, but that again is your choice if so wish to do so. So keep doing what you want to keep doing. That is your right. Cheers. Nov!!!
Hi Indi. I never posted anywhere else than here. Never had to. It was funny enough on LSE as it was with Pete, Phil, Bobo, PTP, DBW, AV, Andy MK and DOG (TIMBER) POG et al. If I ever decide to buy back in here, I will join WS as well. But as that isn't likely any time soon, I will just dip in and our periodically if I see anything worth commenting on. CHEERS. Nov.!!!
OK Surely. I'll let you have that one, as I like the humour in your posts. For clarity, I tick all the boxes for not being allowed here.... Multi ID poster, because my previous account was deleted as I didn't use it for years "Novice2009". I am an ex holder and I am also very bitter (towards my own stupidity, rather than anyting Landau did). I still read the board for the entertainment value. But the Who at Leeds??? I just couldn't let that one go without comment!!!
Sorry surely, just realised you said "live" album. I've been away for a while and am a bit rusty... Like rig 8 if any old timers can remember that fiasco. Try "Hanx" by Stiff Little Fingers.
Penetration "Moving Targets"... Better fact !!!
