George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Your posts are so long that I get bored after reading first 1-2 lines. Can you keep it short please?
Aa a reward, I will transfer 10000 iag shares to your ISA when SP reaches 500p this year.
I might have to sell some IAG so it can go up, lol. This happens often.
I am not expecting flights opening before Oct but I would expect announcement can made next month to prepare for that, thats should provide direction to this SP. US will be busy for business and leisure no matter its summer or autumn or winter
Hoping that IAG will rise another 3-4% today as sun is shining. Same for ESJ
Hopelly this will give share a lift off today
Yes unfortunately it can go down much from here if Spain and Greece are put on amber plus list.
Its on bbc news. Not able to copy paste the link. Also on CDC website
Looks like last nail in the coffin. This could be another reason of stocks falling else it will fall much further tomorrow.
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is warning Americans against travelling to the UK amid a surge of Covid cases in the country.
The UK has now been raised to the highest threat level - Level 4: Very High, in a CDC travel notice.
The US health authority also issued the following recommendations:
Avoid travel to the UK
If you must travel to the UK, make sure you are fully vaccinated before travel
The CDC warns that, because of the current situation in the UK, even fully vaccinated travellers may be at risk of getting and spreading Covid-19 variants.
If you have money keep buying in small tranche...long term and also short term it will pay off.
Vaccines are effective, if it was dec-jan we would have had 1200-1500 deaths a day at current level of infection and now its 50 a day
Leaden, unfortunately thats not the case in UK. Now more than half of infections are in vaccinated groups due to two reasons:
1. Virus running out of unvaccinated
2. Vaccines are not much effective in stopping infections ( particularly Oxford jab) though they are highly effective in reducing hospitalisations and death.
The biggest issue that i see with SP is that airlines are at bottom in opening priorities now. So night clubs can have few hundreds cramped into a small dance floor, have 70000 in wembley but NO you cant travel, you cant travel to see you friend and family, you cantgo on holiday.
Why not ask people going to nighclub to have pcr test 2 days after visiting a night club or cinema now?
The govt is full of c**t who got no clue how to deal with this pandemic even after 16 months.
I have just cancelled my Greece trip in August due to drama around pcr test on return
Disappointed!
JG68, I would not say dead cat bounce. There will be volatility in this stock until situation stabilises with covid restrictions/impact.
I have been topping up at 63p and then yesterday at 57p. I would add more if it falls below 50p.
I have made good profit in IAG and MAB after buying them very cheap last year. I bought Cine at 20 pp only to sold at 25p ( I was very happen then). If I would have kept them it would have been 300-500% return
Viren, sorry for your loss. Many are in loss including me but not fair to blame an individual. Its your / our decision to take.
I was looking for him/her as his posts were fun and interesting discussions :) we need some rampers here now.
Many are less active. Buffaloben is now active in boohoo, wam and calamari i saw were active on argo blockchain board
Anyone aware where anapa is? He has disappeared just like whatamess..
I made good profit when I bought at 65p last year and sold around 100-105p earlier this year. Got back into it again later and I currently have 20k shares at avg 75p.
Exactly what I said yesterday about 60000 drunkards allowed to spread virus in stadium but decent people not allowed to visit friends, family and go on holiday.
jet2 boss Travel restrictions creating two-tier society - Jet2 boss

Travel restrictions and the cost of testing have created a "two-tier society", the boss of airline Jet2 says.
Chief executive Steve Heapy says he doesn't understand the decision to move the Balearic Islands to the amber list, adding that infection rates in many parts of Europe are lower than the UK.
He questions why restrictions remain for travel when from next week people in England will be able to go to a nightclub and capacity limits will be lifted for venues.
“The average person in the street can’t go on holiday to relax but 70,000 people can cram into a football stadium," he says.
"It’s extremely disappointing because travel is very safe."
He adds that the cost of testing is unaffordable for many ordinary people.
Heapy calls for fully vaccinated travellers to be exempt from testing requirements and for cheaper lateral flow tests to replace PCR tests.
Allowing 60000 people in Wembley to watch football but not allowing people to travel is a joke of this century. The govt is clueless. If you want to shut then shut the whole economy and not just travel and hospitality. It made sense last year but not now after 70% full vaccinated.
Tbh, they just keep moving goal post based on share prices
What credibility these analysts have, none. Citi says buy with 800 as target.
The market and us are a bit disappointed that the summer will not be as we thought it to be this year. That reflects on SP.
however, things are improving though slower than expected and demand of travel will remain and it will be booming after summer too. People who could not travel in summer will travel in autumn and winter as long as situation keeps improving. So hold on tight and see shares returning 50-100% in a year.
185p, lol
