Have done this so many times here and still massively out of pocket, never again!
In my opinion, this is starting to gain real traction as the woes in Europe are improving and the UK construction is taking off big time. Back in March, predicted that this could £2 by March 14 and now fully expect it to go well past that figure and am now looking at £2.50.
I made an enquiry direct to Sopheon prior to the shares changing and was told that if you had less than 10,000 shares you would receive a pro-rata payment if you were a direct shareholder but for those with nominee accounts it would be up to them if a payment is made.
What happens if you say no, will they purchase them anyway?
Got a reply from Sopheon, they are trying to reduce the number of pesky shareholders for which they do not hold much sympathy for and they said that if you hold less than 10,000 shares you can either, buy some more to get to the 10,000 level, sell your holding or do nothing in which case they will sell the shares and pass the proceeds over to you! Given that I am sitting on a loss the idea of selling at a current low price did not fill me with joy so I have today topped up in the hope that there will be some price increase in the future.
Can anyone help with what may seem like a dumb question, but what happens to share holdings that do not fit into packages of 10,000?
trying to understand this AIM market. Better news than expected and so a fall of 16% in its share price. You couldn't make it up!
I am not expecting any sudden large increase in the price, more of what has been happening over the past year, a slow but continuing improvement. I am looking at 200p this time next year until Europe start to show real signs of improvement and then who knows. bdyor
http://biz.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2012/12/12/business/12445929 Saw this news item which explains the takeover. Am I missing something but should there not be shareholder approval for this and how much dilution can we expect for BIP holders post takeover. I understand where the 7p comes from, but that is post dilution, it does not mean that these shares will rise from 3.1p to 7p?
Where did you get the 1 billion shares from, my understanding is that there are 166 million in issue?
I imagine this was part of the loan stock conversion into ordinary shares recently which institutional investors took part in.
Can anyone explain to me how such a small number of share transactions can have such a change in the share price so that the price falls 25% over a few days. Surely if there was dire performance issues we would see much larger volume sells?
Where does this information come from?
I wish this share would start to point North. I never expected this to fall to 2p and obviously I am missing something as to why it is on a dive down.
I have recently topped up my holding. My feel was that although they are pretty poor in passing out information, the fundamentals are in place for the business to be successful. Plus, i feel that at the moment with all the doom and gloom most shares are trading below true valuations due the the continuing Euro debacle.
Perhaps some people already know the results, why would you suddenly have 800,000 shares being sold all of a sudden!
I have tried a couple of times but the contact me page errors out when the message has been submitted. Anyway, no news is good news, isnt it?
Hopefully with the recent rises and increased price target by brokers I may finally break even after long years in the wilderness!
Not sure why there has been so many sales in the last few days if we are expecting the pipeline to be completed soon. any views?
I have waited a long time for the price to start heading North again. Lets hope its fortunes have finally turned and we can see our losses reduced or even become profitable!! Yeehaa
