Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Nothing has changed. I think that is the problem and why the SP is going down. The good ship HUR is rudderless with no plan going fwd. GWA is on hold due to poor drilling results and Spirit not will to commit to anything till they find a buyer. We have a drilling rig on hire with nothing to drill and GLA which may have an issue with water which I don't believe is coned but the levels are increasing at a rate which make me feel a little uneasy.
I'm sitting tight myself because I am sure the BOD will soon have a plan.

The timing is interesting as we normally get RNS of this sort in the morning. I did wonder if we might get another one first thing!
I suspect Mr Bernstein as a 5% shareholder has the ability to speak to Hur company directors directly and ask the questions we would all like answers to.
NcB
Better than "being coned"
Think CA back buying is a great vote of confidence, good news.
Let's keep politics off the BB board during polling hours and may be all hours but if you don't want Scottish independence then vote remain with the lib dems :-)

Your lack of knowledge is outstanding

Someone posted a document on the Hurricane Facebook website showing:
Scope: 2 x PSV 800M2+ SS PBLJ EST 255 days drilling support
Commencement date: 15 Feb 20
I didn't get any comments at the time and the more knowledgeable people here will give better interpretation

The same thought had crossed my mind. Lack of replies speaks volumes to me but still holding.
NcB
To my knowledge
David Jenkins owns 203000
John Van Welle owns 154000
Neil Platt owns about 1000000
And Sandy Shaw is still living of the royalties from puppet on string so doesn't need any
NcB
I think you'll find there is an obscenely generous directors share scheme which gives them large amounts of shares when thresholds are met. DYOR there will be details on HUR website
NcB
That's how I read it anyway

No this was a second FPSO for Lancaster not GWA
NcB
Surprised no one mentioned Mr Stobie's scenario of an additional FPSO on Lancaster or was this in another thread I missed
NcB
'Sloppy journalism' Lincoln and Lancaster are both cities not towns, I guess Jamie must be a southerner never been north of the Watford cap
I don't think that CA bring anything to the HUR party anymore and am not a fan of RB. However in their defence they did buy a big blob of shares on May 8th I think it was around 9 million. Its funny that in that week the the SP went up about 10p. Sadly we can't expect people to buy and not sell.

Snail many thanks. I think it all got a bit lost on Wednesday as there was so much going on and lots of chatter on the BB.
I will let Lydia know how generous know what a generous bunch you all are.

Many thanks for kind words and donations. I might post my message again tomorrow as I fear it has got a little lost in the many messages today.
Cheers

Congraulations to the HUR team for Foil.
Trust me the SP foil sweepstake was not a competition I wanted to win but as a reluctant winner I would like to thank people in advance for the generous donations that will be given. Yorkshire Air ambulance is a great local charity saving lives on a daily basis.
I know this in unusual and hope the good rev doesn't object but I would like to offer people a choice of another charitable cause. My partner has a good close friend called Lydia Galbally who is a 41 year old mother of two who tragically fell ill with sepsis after contacting tuberculosis (TB). After being in a coma for 11 days she lost both her legs one arm and her right hand.
Her family are trying to raise some money for private prosthetics, physiotherapy and some home adaptations. Her story has been featured in some of the national newspapers and her full story can be found on the "gofundme" (feet-and-hands-for-lydia) website where donations can be made easily. Please be warned there are some graphic photos.
Many thanks again and let's hope the SP goes onwards and upwards.
NcB
Well it's not the Sassenach Appreciation Society!
:-)
Of me not winning the SP foil sweepstake at 64p.
Keeping my fingers crossed I don't I lose
