IMHO with Brent now trading at ~$45+, presently very much undervalued HUR SP may break long overdue 3p mark late afternoon today in which case, rapid rises lie ahead here in upcoming days/weeks.

halfpenny, I guess HUR SP during the last 3 years is certainly reflective of this downgrade (and much more post the brutal Kitchen Sinking) and hence IMO, downside risks here are now very limited while upside potential is truly massive, DYOR.

A relatively small percentage here indeed, and shorts with smaller positions (less than 0.5%) seem to be slowly closing, GLA.

Fully agree, HUR as a takeover target is looking increasingly attractive, and particularly for potential North Sea bidders, also, don't see a viable bid here at anything less than ~14p SP at the moment.

If a takeover bid for HUR were to come this year, it will be in the 12-14p range, and if next year or beyond, then much higher price could be required for success depending on timing and oil price at the time, IMOO.

HUR has been trading on very low volume during the past few weeks, once the "Forward Work Programme" is confirmed, I strongly believe that both volume and SP will significantly rally/breakout from current very much depressed undervalued levels, plan to top up a little here towards the close.

A takeover bid here which bod/shareholders can digest and approve somewhere at ~10p+ is likely before year end. However looking at HUR books/balance sheet, could also be in 12-14p range which is a possible premium when bidding for much undervalued/distressed companies.

HUR valuation today makes no realistic sense as both crude and company fundamentals demand and represent much higher potential valuations thereby, any positive update here will act as a massive tailwind and have an extremely positive influence on the HUR SP along with it's forward looking direction.

A massive upward bounce/breakout here is inevitable, even on minor news as we are simply trading way too much under fair value at present, IMO.
