Thanks for the congrats. Yes I am a little smug. Still rightly oh look you have made a friend panty. That's nice
I work at Royal mail, I was saying at £1.50 to buy, seems to me I'm the one who is laughing in the new year, as I took my own advice, plus also in the share scheme too .
I would rather invest in royal mail on the experience of a postman of 34 years, than an invester of 34 years, never mind 34 minutes, to many of them with own agenda.
Don't really care if you belive me or not, nice to know what I've achieved though at the age of 54 is unbelievable to the likes of you. Oh I have a Ford sorry to dissapoint. As I said I'm in at £3.80 if it reaches that, if not buy elsewhere. Remember jealousy is a ugly thing, and a bit of free advice from somebody who is clearly achieving more in life than you. Don't be a victim of the endowment effect which you clearly are. Not sure that your intellect will understand that though.
Thank you, yes I am rather smug about that, still what part of My messages haven't involved royal mail? Obviously the comments I post don't fit your agenda, as I said before I'm in at £3,80 if it doesn't get to it so what I'm not emotionally involved in it like you seem to be, I'm guessing you bought it top end by the sound of you. Remember, we are all entitled to opinions.
Own 3 houses outright. I take absolutely no notice of other people's advice dumpers or rampers, no agenda at all, sold at £6.09 part of my holding in June the only time I have ever sold this share, I will keep being the clown while you follow the herd.
If its so undervalued stop going on about it like you have for the last week, use it as a buying opportunity, I will at about £3.80.
I also hold tesco as well, not the greatest share price, now back to June 2000 levels. Personally Hope to see royal mail do the same as tesco though with maybe a 5% buy back instead of dividends.
Ha ha. Motley fool, you would have to be a fool to listen to them, they gave royal mail an avoid when they were about £1.80, and a buy at £5.00."allin the space of 12 months.
How can anybody be accountable for the loss of money from this share? Apart from the gullible buyer, whoever thought a business that has never made profit and probably never will, with no assets. Greed and not doing your homework are the reasons alone.
Royal mail?????? That has assets of at least 4 billion. And makes profits each year. How can you compare the two.? Warren buffet you are not.
Postbox. No where near the numbers you say in the scheme in our office, probably less than 10% of employees more like. In my office anyway.
How on earth is deliveroo worth between 5 and 7 billion. As far as I'm aware it has no assets, never made a profit. It seems they are just selling an idea. The royal mail worth 4,5 billion assets worth at least half of that and about to make at least half a billion profit. Am I missing something? Please educate me anybody who can explain.
You have to laugh at motley fool, a year ago they said they wouldn't touch royal mail with a barge poll when they were about £1.50 a share, now a year later at £4.60 ish they are saying one to keep for 5 years. I said that when they were £1,50.. And I'm only a postman
Can anybody tell me? How can Dr martens be valued at 5 billion and royal mail about 4.8 billion, with all its assets as well. I will never understand how company's are valued.
Dave druid. All the senior men went through the junior boys experiences when they first started. Longer walks. Not getting the annual leave they wanted. Stop being bitter.
Some people on here are very excitable, up 5p over the last 2 weeks, can't see it hitting £6 for a few years yet, as somebody on here has said before good long term hold.
Don't even know where to start with your rant, but saying we have a virtual monopoly is correct only on the letter side of the business which if you invested so much money in the business in the first place you should know it's holding the business back with the current u.s.o.
Not sure how losing Saturday letter delivery (possible 20000 jobs) the extra packets will account for them. My delivery takes half a hour to do overweight parcels, and 4 and a half hours to do Saturday delivery.
Crystal ball bloke. Where have you been for the last 6 months? Royal mail have been in talks with ofcom about it for a while now. Needs legislation though which I can see being given eventually. (for good or bad).
