Not really. The buy/sell indication is a guesstimate rather that actual data (don't ask me why) but is based on whether the price struck is above or below the mid price. The implication is you got a good deal. "Don't worry, be happy"

I had a quick call to Larry Page and Sergey Brin and told them they upsetting you, so the fixed it at the last leadership of the day now. ;-)

Look at trades and you'll see where Google gets its £4.60 from. They haven't got the sharpest algorithm in the drawer! Mind you what is a trade of zero shares anyway!?

Google is usefull during the day, because you can customise a spreadsheet to suit. For instance I like to deduct divis from my purchase price for a true P/L on each holding. You can't do that on many trading platforms. For example my ITV looks dreadful, until you take into account accumulated divis. Better for the nerves. But ignore Google closing prices which are pretty random. They sometime fix it a couple hours later. Instead form you opinion on the share trades link at the top. It's looking pretty.

So you predict +5p tomorrow, subject to it rising 5p. I can tell you are a cautious man.

Can anyone explain this to me in words of one syllable olease?

Thanks Y11 & Mike: hat is what I thought. So those talking if dilution are only seeing half the equation. I'm sure the price will find it's feet. HBR has often been contrary.

Someone mentioned this dilution, and certainly the SP has gone sideways. But I am a little confused. We are left holding 89% but isnt that of and enlarged company?

Used to get the late edition of the Evening Standard to see the closing prices up the side. Shares like Courtaulds, ICI and British Leyland. Then the Home Service prices from extel indicators.

But to get to the point, I averaged down this morning at 193p and now look! I am almost a day trader!

Normally such an RNS of new contracts is good news for investors, however it rings hollow since it doesn't alter the measly 30p if we are lucky! Someone mentioned the smell of landfill, being a country chap, I would add to that septic tank. But it is as if we are having our noses rubbed in it. What's Roy's salary? @Optic15 I Apologise since my response came across more abrupt than I intended. I did not intend to be rude, but I did point you the the right place, the horses mouth. The only reliable source. That was the right thing to do. Personally I consider this to be a "Penny share" and the remaing risks and wait tine are what is suppressing the price. I am underwater on this and 30p would alleviate the pain a little, because like me most on this thread are angry at the BOD who have destroyed a great British firm. They may yet prove to be criminal. You can easily read what else I have written, by clicking my name. You will notice I am not normally rude, but quite a jolly fellow. Sorry again. Yet my advice was still solid.

@Bjet I did not answer his question directly, but directed him where to find out, because if you give a loaf you feed him for a day. Teach him to bake, you feed him for life. He needs to take on the imperative "Do Your own research". Although he question was so stupid and/or lazy, I suspect it was just a wind up. ("I usually buy smaller shares") Hmmm.

@Optic15 if your question is really serious, I suggest you view Wood's Sidara bid-specific microsite, and find out where the 30p figure comes from. Rather than lazily asking such foolish questions. Of course, if that is too much effort, perhaps Wood Group is not for you Try the Post Office, it's far less demanding.

Uncertainty the deal will go ahead without a hitch, a worry about the FCA investigation, and profit taking for those in around 18½p-21p A bird in the hand and all that. Otherwise a nervous wait with money tied up

@Futurehire Thanks for the apology. Duly accepted. My feeling of irritation changes to respect. Those of us with skin in this car crash of a company are all in the same boat. Onlookers, prospective bargain hunters, derampers and trolls on here, have absolutely no effect on the price whatsoever. I am still holding, and may average down at lower than 22p should that occur.
