Bitcoin bitcoin cash - both cryptocurrencies think of bitcoin is the gold standard and all the others as poorer versions many of the crypto projects are not actually "cash projects" they are utilities but bitcoin cash is like the Poor relation to bitcoin ( no other use case beyond what Bitcoin has- there is actually two versions of bitcoin cash BVHand bitcoin cash SV BCHSV - you don't really want to be investing in either - just trade them and think of them a s leveraged versions of bitcoin - if investing for the long term bitcoin is your play

Forget coin base mate - absolutely ****e the only benefit used to be that you could trade using pounds or dollars rather than tether but if you're going to go for Coinbase buy it through their sister company coinbase pro as cheaper (but still expensive) but actually better is Binance and I think you can trade in pounds now but beware when you trade wherever in GBP liquidity of these coins is poor. if you just gonna buy bitcoin and hold not trade that is not so much of an issue

Zcash - ZEC is a good project but privacy coins are taking a hammering at the moment

polkadot - now that is a good project to invest in

so the halving halves the rewards miners get - and for a miner thats isnt great

yes and its gone - but you have a misunderstanding of alt coins - you cannot compare them to large caps- eg IOST is up 46% today - and may well be down 46% tomorrow- my earlier comment that Zcash is no higher now that it was in October is relevant

They can't regulate it and in any event it's too small at the moment for them to be bothered and when it gets bigger it's going to be too late - the fact is central banks can offer their own digital currencies and bitcoin will be a side store value to that,Just like gold is at the moment but the difference is institutions will be buying/Holding bitcoin just as they buy and hold gold

cameron `Can I ask you a question about the se sq LSE trading because I'm finding it really odd when I'm trading through interactive brokers that my trades will only take place during the auction windows i.e. three times a day yet the price keeps going up and down outside these hours - so presumably other people are trading during these outside hours -off the book - so is it a question of me having to change my broker or is it Market makers that are taking the trades
