Stevebt I also have oil shares and a lot of TW. from 2009. I plan on buying PSN but not until at least sub £12 and probably not until the end of next winter in case there is bad weather. Remember it will takes years for house prices to go back up because the builders will have to find tradesmen, materials and many people will be broke if there’s a big long recession.
Velindre, I don’t know but if the Ukrainians were behind it all they have succeeded in doing is making a martyr out of the woman and have given the Russians something to rally around.
Putin could use it as an excuse for national subscription and go totally OTT.
Personally I would not think about buying anymore building company shares until maybe the end of winter. House prices could easily come crashing down I have seen it happen before and the dividends will follow. It will also take a very long time for the housing market to recover.
People will tell you it cannot happen because of this and that and the county needs 250,000 new houses. What’s new! nothing has changed for decades but that’s not stopped the market from crashing before.
Since 2009 I have owned 34,000 TW. shares which ended up costing me 39p each.
Recently I started getting my UK pension but find myself struggling a bit with the TW. dividend.
I have been thinking of selling up and buying PSN because as you know the dividend is higher, and the share price has dropped more than TW. Any solid advice would be appreciated.

I’m with you guys I bought 4200 shares a couple of years ago for £9.67 knowing the sp would at least double. However I was hoping the dividend would be back to the pre Covid levels by now because I have just started my UK pension.
I’m not a trader but I do try and better myself listening to those in the know on this board. The dividend is not carved in stone and it along with the sp will go up and I for one am happy to wait as long as it takes ish.
