Good man, nothing I hadn't heard before, but good to see more strategic and market interest in the stock.
The right bit of PR/leakage and this could get silly. If the Czech market listing comes on in the next fortnight, that's another technical ramp coming our way hopefully :)
Bankfool, for a laugh I tried to play around with the "GAINZ CALCULATER".
I like the tool, it was just jaw dropping to see a % indicator, despite rounding to two decimal places, actually round up to a cool 100.oo% loss since October 2006. Whew..........
lol I had to laugh at this. Fair play to the team for creating it - it was always a nightmare calculation.

Any news recently? I haven't held shares in a while so haven't come down for the bants that often.
Why is the Valirx exec guy doing something about Neuro stuff? Wasn't aware we had any neurological stuff, unless the COVID-grant-fishing project is linked to this?
It is interesting pondering how this share will go. Presumably if the mine was not viable the govt wouldn't have had so much interest in it.
If EMH was being sold off, they wouldn't bother listing on the Czech market. The government wouldn't want that unless it would be a massive success, but wouldn't want the price to escalate until complete.
This is arguably one of the most politically manipulated shares I've seen in recent years, but there seems to be an agreeable timeline of events planned now.
Listing "this quarter" implies by the end of November to me, otherwise they'd say "this month". Fingers crossed.
Once on Czech Market, Czech govt will be merrily ramping the living Christ out of this share. As the largest potential in EU, this seriously must be in the 50-100ktpa range. I'm a bit fuzzy on what the margins will be, being a cynical old fart I suspect the first 25kt will be dedicated for CEZ at "mates rates", with perhaps the 2nd and 3rd phases going onto the commercial markets.
In terms of SP, if we are being royally shafted this is a £1+ share by 2022. If we are not being shafted and the Cexchs truly want to enrich their citizens, £7+ by 2026.
I can't remember the last share that had such wild potential and controversy!
Prague listing ongoing
Proposed Czech Listing
The Company is in discussions with the Prague Stock Exchange regarding the proposed listing of the Company's securities. Given the high profile that the Cinovec Project has within the Czech Republic, the Company would like to provide the opportunity for Czechs to invest directly via their domestic exchange. It is anticipated that the proposed listing will be completed in the current quarter.
Rpks, possibly, it depends how they valued it. Wind power is my sector and speciality (I have visited this wind farm several times, usually staying in Constanta on the coast).
It cost roughly £1.1bn to build and is probably the largest foreign investment in Romania of any type (I presume that record still holds).
That said, how do you value a 9 year old wind farm? You could argue it might be £700-800m, or you could see the future opportunities to add/repower from 2.5MW turbines to the latest 6MW turbines and triple the output of the farm. At which point CEZ could have banked £1.2 to £2.5bn this week.
Either way, it's a curiously timed move that suggests CEZ have a large capital investment programme coming up. Especially if they don't raise their dividend next quarter.
CEZ should have a tonne of cash in the bank now.
They sold Europe's largest onshore wind farm to Macquarie (Aussie bank) this afternoon. 600MW of turbines will not come cheap, the Aussie connection cannot be a coincidence (but Macquarie are a major green power investor, so who knows).
I would estimate they bought it for £500-£1000m.
Fpvone, I think the tactic of buying/selling bitcoin for sale on different markets is technically legitimate, but I think they collared him on some technicalities where he was a bit naive in organising his tax bill.
He explained he had written an automated script, that if you could say buy bitcoin at 1600 on one exchange and sell at 1620 on another exchange, if you put enough volume through the system making 1-3% profit each time, you could make a tidy sum over the year.
Ultimately, I think there was a problem with capital gains tax he hadn't properly thought out/planned. Apparently it is really bad form to plough £1+m through a domestic bank account - you go onto all kinds of money laundering watchlists. He had to apologise all round - hire a proper accountant to sort out his mess & Santander closed his account permanently. But otherwise he came out OK (grumpy as heck, but OK). I think he still walked away with his allowable CGT annual profit (£10k?) and a sore arse from his new accountant.
Topped up this AM, got a feeling this could be one of the better performing shares of the next 6-12 months.
Could all go wrong, but I feel the newsflow is more positive than the negative drama llamas of several years back.
50% of a priceless asset is still priceless ;)
Is it possible to arbitrage trade from LSE to ASX?
I have heard some hilarious stories about buying stock on one market for immediate sale on other markets! A friend made quite a fortune doing this on bitcoin exchanges (admittedly the FSA did eventually freeze his domestic bank account, although they let him off with a slap on the wrist, as trading £1m through Santander is apparently frowned on...!).
Apparently so.
This does interesting leave Erris as a purely EU project focussed company, with Bacanora focussing on the Mexican projects. Could this hint at a ploy to get EU funding for critical raw metals?
Interesting news @ BCN. Who are Erris resources? It seems a £3m MCAP company have bought a major asset from a £70m MCAP company. Weird..
8 October 2020
Bacanora Lithium plc ("Bacanora" or the "Company")
Conditional Sale of interest in Deutsche Lithium to Erris Resources Plc
Further to the announcement of 30 September 2020, Bacanora Lithium plc (AIM: BCN), a lithium exploration and development company, is pleased to announce that it has now entered into the conditional sale and purchase agreement ("SPA") to sell its 50% shareholding in Deutsche Lithium GmbH ("DL" or "Deutsche Lithium") to Erris Resources plc ("Erris"), in exchange for new shares in Erris and a net profits royalty (the "Proposed Transaction"). The SPA is subject, inter alia, to the approval by Erris shareholders of the resolutions to be proposed at a general meeting to be held on 26 October 2020 ("GM").
