Such smuggness.
There is a saying - pride comes before embarrassment and a haughty spirit before a fall (often mis-quoted as pride comes before a fall).
Sadly, that refers to normal people. The shameless morons we have here are absolute deniers of truth and when this bit of premature gloating is pointed out to them they will deny saying. Of course this is the reason why the slimeball hides behind the curtain of the filter function - so that he can never read the truth about himself.
By the way, I did bit of reading and my bit of psychoanalysis was correct. The slimeball is a classic case of a recognised psychological condition called "displacement".
The slimeball made the decision to buy into FLX. It went badly wrong, so now, as well as the sadness and anger over the money he lost, he feels demeaned - he made a wrong decision and is worried about what other investments might go wrong - he feel that he is a loser. He cannot act assertively against the cause of his hurt [because he can't get back at the stock market], so he reacts instead by attacking the people who were right and who pointed out his folly. He has to hide behind the excuse of using filtering because he cannot face being told the truth of his actions.
What he is basically doing is endeavouring to make them feel demeaned, to hurt their feelings—hurt them back. By doing so, he no longer feels demeaned, at least not for the moment, but sadly this reinforces this essentially childish behavior - and that is true - I got it from reading web sites about psychology.
Quotes -
"It’s hardly exemplary behavior to try to escape blame or criticism by “passing the buck.” And projecting our mistakes, or misdeeds, onto others represents a psychological defense that, while it may protect our ego, typically creates far more problems than it solves"
"Displacement is a psychological defense mechanism in which a person redirects a negative emotion from its original source to a less threatening recipient. A classic example of the defense is displaced aggression.?? If a person is angry but cannot direct their anger toward the source [i.e. the stock market and the loss he suffered] without consequences, they might "take out" their anger on a person or thing that poses less of a risk [i.e. posts on here aren't going to cause him to lose more money - i.e. less of a risk than investing more money to try get back his losses]."
The slimeball is a classic case of a sad and angry loser with a childish mentality.
