Wouldn't you indeed. Neither do I - worry that is, but I will draw attention to the tactics used to make false accusations against me.

I had written "for better or for worse" - so why didn't Deepsurvey1 say he was searching for a positive angle on DELT - i.e. "better".

See how my detractors are absolutely determined to twist my words and make out that I am negative on DELT. His sarcastic post is yet another false accusation made against me and one based on taking my words and twisting them to say something that I never said.

That should have been - "a better understanding than me"

I never said it was negative for Deltic. By "gloom and doom" I meant the predictions of utter financial collapse, but may I explain asking if the issue would affect DELT, for better of for worse as I wrote.

Those trillions in margin calls are financial instruments and nothing to do with exploration and production, but the numbers are trillions, not just billions, so the problem is serious.

These boards are for discussion and debate and I posted in the hope that someone who has a better understanding then me of these margin calls might add to the discussion. One point that I have wondered about is, If it all comes crashing down, which looks to be more than a remote possibility, would the earthquake in the financial markers affect the major oil companies and cause them to cut back on exploration spending?

So, is there anyone who is knowledgeable about margin calls, the financial markets, etc. and who would care to enlighten me \ us. Thanks.

Yesterday's fall still hasn't taken the price below the upper line of the top of the flag. If it drops again today and goes below that line, then the rise to 4.1p might have been a false breakout. If it turns out to have been a false breakout, then watch for the price to drop below the bottom edge of the flag and be ready to sell. As I said, I'm not an expert at TA, but that is how I understand the information in the tutorials on flag patterns. Please do your own research.

FK1 is always right. I learned that the hard way.

NTM - remember all the tings roly DARVO said when he came on here - he had all the theory and had worked out that the sp MUST go up, he was full of confidence.

It went down and as it went down he bought more thinking that the market had it wrong and he had worked out that it MUST go up.

Davey is doing the same thing.

Now, roly DAVRO regrets his buying and wants to get out but can't without taking a huge loss.

Think about that NTM before making your buying decision.

Never try to catch a falling knife is a well known saying in the market. I'm not saying don't buy, I'm just asking you to not be blinkered by davey's posts.

That should have been - "never forget that FK1 has ALWAYS been right ".

NTM - never forget the FK1 has ALWAYS been right and Davey is down on his holding. You are doing what I used to do - seeing positives that weren't really positives, convincing myself that the sp will go up, and so I bought more and more. That's how I ended up with 6 million. I didn't buy them in one go, I bought over a period of years because I was looking at everything through rose-tinted specs.

Don't get brainwashed in the way I did.
