George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
So Ed Dowd keeps being proved right. It was almost two months ago when he gave that interview and he told us of things that turned up on the BBC news only today.
Dr.P and SouthEast mocked me with taunts of "conspiracy theory". Isn't it funny how so-called conspiracy theories keep turning out to be true.
Stock market investing isn't just about buying. Knowing when to sell is equally important, if not more so. I told you of the drop in the value of my investments. If I had sold I would avoided that fall. (** Knowing of the mockery and insults that will attract, I add a side note - I'm not too worried. In many years of investing I've seen ups and downs. They are good quality companies and will come back.)
Back on topic - selling is important.
In August I posted a link to an interview with a top fund manager who made a forecast. As usual, my post was mocked and scorned. I got abuse simply for posting an interview, which they could have chosen to listen to or to ignore.
I mention it again because this morning on the BBC news was an item that backed up what Ed Dowd had to say. I think this is the fourth time since I first posted that interview, that evidence has emerged to back up what Ed Dowd said.
With a track record like his, and with evidence constantly confirming his views, it is stupid to ignore his forecast, so for your benefit, here it is.
Ed Dowd, top fund manager, former BlackRock fund manager
At 24 mins - being in the market now is a mug's game, get into cash and soon you will be buying your favourite stocks dirt cheap.
In the interview prior to that comment, he explains how his forecasts lead to that conclusion - forecasts based on his analysis of official statistics (including UK gov't data) and what is going on in the world.

"North Sea Booming for analysts with sufficient braincells to see the facts!"
DELT Share price falling for anyone with sufficient brain cells to see the facts! - but bigots wearing rose-tinted specs can't see it \ don't want to see it.
Only people like me who seek truth can see it.
You are having fun aren't you - you've picked up on a term I used - Rose tinted spectacles.
Hold on a minute - I thought no one read my posts. You (the gang of 8) posted "Get lost" and told me no one was interested in what I said. As usual, you were lying, you are reading my posts.
Noel Shempsky -love or hate him - but you've got read Him !
As usual you have misrepresented my words. Yes, the North Sea is booming - I didn't say it wasn't. My posts were about new licences - where are they?
I said they will probably be granted - but all I was saying is that it isn't 100% guaranteed. That was my point and just look at the reaction I got . Absolute madness from a load of bigotted buffoons who have ruined this board with their endless posting of insults, abuse and specious claptrap.
Even though evidence keeps on turning up to back up the things I say, they still attack me.
Never trust politicians. In 1939, when the PM, Neville Chamberlain came back from Munich, he waved a piece of paper and told the British people that it guaranteed "Peace in our time". Not long afterwards, the country was at war.
We are nearly at the end of September and still no new licences.
Sunak said that HE (not the NSTA) would grant new gas exploration licences.
Was he telling fairy tales? Here is someone who thinks Sunak tells fairy tales -
"DAN HODGES: There's no painless route to net zero but Rishi Sunak will only tell you fairy tales"
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-12553693/DAN-HODGES-Theres-no-painless-route-net-zero-Rishi-Sunak-tell-fairy-tales.html
What did I say about slippery Sunak? Evidence just keeps on turning up to back up the things I say.

From that IC piece - "ask any former Acacia Mining shareholder, who suffered the impact of a bogus tax claim"
Who was the b*st*$! on this board who told me I was wrong when I said ACA was robbed, the shareholders were robbed, ACA didn't owe any tax?
And don't think the Tanz gov't are any more honourable now than they were then. If they see a miner with lots of cash, they will want to steal it.
A while ago, in a debate with DrPatience (who has no patience) he countered my post about Net Zero plans \ 15 minute cities, etc, by saying that people were getting what they voted for.
I knew then that he was wrong. It is being done in secret, or as secretly as they can possibly get away with.
"The astonishing thing about the net zero target is that it was nodded through Parliament in the dying days of Theresa May's government without a vote, an impact statement, any idea of what it would cost or even whether it could be achieved at all in an advanced industrial country" - see - done in secret.
This is from this article - "ROSS CLARK: There's one net zero deadline that's fast approaching which Rishi Sunak didn't mention. And it should seriously worry all of us".
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-12547243/ROSS-CLARK-net-zero-deadline-approaching-Sunak-didnt-mention.html
You get common sense and facts from me, and bluff and ignorance from Dr. P.
Did Lord Spencer talk about this?
What did I say - a balancing act - "Mr Sunak said he expected his plans to 'command very broad support, not just in our party but in the country'.
But ministers could face a tougher challenge in the Lords, where the Government does not have a majority.
The Tory benches in the Lords contain a number of committed environmental campaigners who have criticised Mr Sunak's plans, including former environment minister Zac Goldsmith and former climate change committee chairman Lord Deben."
That is from this article - "Tory rebels could block Rishi Sunak's plan to delay the ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars in parliament"
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12547009/Tory-rebels-Rishi-Sunaks-delay-ban-sale-new-petrol-diesel-cars-parliament.html
Yet again I am proved right.
I'm proved right - again. I said - A spike that fizzles out.
This was predictable, but not for those wearing rose-tinted specs. By the way, the cost will be far greater than £15,000. £45,000 is more like it, and that is at present day prices.
"Environmentalist plot legal challenge to Rishi Sunak's green U-turn on cars and boilers after he accuses them of not caring about the £15,000 cost to families of Net Zero plans"

I didn't say it - Cookoo did - 15p is coming - and it will unless they can monetise Pensacola - but how likely is that?
They announced the discovery of the biggest NS gas field found in the last ten years and the share price dropped - a lot.
Wake up to the new reality.
Laura - when this was FLX, people paid the equivalent of over 600p per share, pre-consolidation price.
Falling Knife was the only one on here who predicted the huge fall.
Sunak said, about the Net Zero plans, "costs that no one was ever told about" - I told you about them, and DrPatience called me a conspiracy theorist for telling you.
Keep up with your mockery and abuse against me - it only make you look foolish.
Bid: 25.50 - DrP never warned you about this. To anyone new to this board - I am hated on here because, from chart analysis, I made two correct forecasts for the sp - the drop from 4p to 3.2p and soon after, the drop from 3.2p to 2.3p. (pre-consolidation prices) They don't like to hear about price falls. They want only talk about it going up.
Prior to that, DrP used to agree with me, he would often posts things like "Well said Noel" or "I agree Noel".
That was when I was positive about the sp. Then DELT announced the discovery of the biggest gas field in the NS in the last ten years, and the sp went down.
That woke me up to the new reality and I could see futher falls ahaed. I was right - the sp has droped form over 40p to now 25.5p. They hate it when I am right.
DrP then showed his true colours. He told me to shut up, stop posting. I didn't stop and so he turned very nasty posting insults and abuse - because I didn't obey his orders. Who does he think he is telling others what they may or may not day on here? DrPatience has no patience, he cannot stand others having an opinion that he doesn't like.
It is still not 100% certain that there will be new gas exploration licences.
The NSTA has said it will grant them, so is it worth discussing this topic? Yes, because, as we saw yesterday, commitments can be abandoned. Things we are told will happen are not guaranteed to happen, e.g. no petrol or diesel cars after 2030.
I have previously said that I think they will grant new licences, but I am watching events unfolding and weighing up the balance of probabilities in an ever-changing landscape.
There are powerful forces on both sides of the global warming \ climate change \ green agenda, that is why I have said that Sunak has a balancing act on his hands.
By the way, I heard Sunak speaking on the Today programme this morning and yet again I have been proved right in things I said in previous posts.
I have been telling you that this Net Zero \ Great Reset business would make our lives miserable. Sunak said it. He talked about the huge bills that would hit us to make the changes to our homes. He mentioned £15,000, but many times we have been told that the bill is more likely to be around £45,000 per household. That is just one aspect of the horrors of Net Zero.
Back to things closer to DELT - new licences. I'm sure Sunak doesn't want more drilling. This about turn from Sunak is only because he realised that there is pushback and going too fast for the green targets risks losing the election, so he is simply telling the people what they want to hear (as Lenin did). He watered down the green agenda because needs to find the path of least resistance, but just wait. He can't be trusted, and this morning Nick Robinson exposed a bit of his slippery, sneaky tactics and duplicitous words.
The Greenpeace \ Just Stop Oil campaign against new licences is just about to begin. We must wait to see if it succeeds or will the new new licences be granted before thy can really get going?
Ignore the "nothing blue skies" talk from DrPatience. He never takes off his rose-tinted specs and his posts are nothing more than specious drivel.
"have seen share jump massively at times" - you've never seen FLX \ FCS jump massively and stay up. All rises have fizzled out in a short time - don't take my word for it - look at the FLX \ price chart. The FCS chart shows it a bit, but doesn't go back far enough to show it as well as the FLX chart does, and I've been watching FCS for years, and was a shareholder for many years and sold at a huge loss.
It's looking better for the chances of new gas exploration licences.
Sunak is backtracking on the push for Net Zero.
Yet again events back me up. Didn't I say he had a balancing act - the BBC has just phrased it like this - "the tension between long term goals and short term political pressures" - in other words, a balancing act. I was right.
He was probably forced to back down by the realists in the Tory party who pointed out the madness of the Net Zero plans and how it was almost impossible to switch to 100% renewable energy - as was the point of all those articles I showed you about that topic.
They said it was impossible and they have been vindicated.
So, we might actually get news of DELT winning new licences.
Expect that to lift the sp to 28p. It will stay there for a day or two then drop back. Just my opinion, but that is what these boards are for, so rather than savaging me, why not post your own opinions and forecasts.
