YES I hope he does, a background in financing and 10 years here without significant additional investment. I thought I heard him mention buying shares on the open market in the latest interview but I struggle to find his open market purchase of any significant value. The share price is low, very low but why doesn’t he buy? Light a fire Mark or move over and let someone new do it. I’m quite sure he knows what a market purchase would do and we have all seen what not doing so has done.
Share price will continue to fall (I’m really very positive about this) until either Mark makes a significant purchase or a someone with greater confidence invests and takes over.

MC hasn’t made a significant investment in the last 10 years.
We’ve had lots of great news already but the world bank left and Ross sold some of his holding.
Market would see and talk to MC making a sizeable investment. MC has said he would ‘participate’ in the next two rounds of financing well how about it goes and buys them in the open market - something he has claimed to do. Buy a lot Mark, as much as you can and you will be followed.
Continue not buying and continue to watch your investment fall.
Maybe it’s time someone else stood up, invested and too control.
BTW what’s MCs holding worth these days?

It just seems like every piece of news we’ve had has not moved the share price. Sure MC has skin in the game but his percentage has dropped year on year through dilution. He gets options and that’s fine but his purchases are very small. Now is the time for him to invest, in his own words ‘he’s not doing this for the banks, he’s doing it for the share holders’.
There’s talk of two financing rounds, there’s talk of toll deals and 5 million ozs, there’s progress on site but no significant CEO new investment. If he wants the price up then lead the way, others will follow. Hoping he’s been saving up these last 10 years!

Time for Mark to put some money in and I mean time to stake the farm, not 50k or 100k for that matter but something really significant. I just can’t see the share price doing anything with any news other than MC making a significant personal investment. I know he already has skin in the game but not sure when I’m the last 10 years he has really dug deep. Heard all the great news but sadly it’s done nothing for the share price. Time to put more money where the mouth is.

I could be mistaken but this is a stock market where people aim to make a little money. Expecting the share price to drop when it’s been dropping most of the year regardless of any transformational news is hardly being negative. I’m positive it will drop - you could make or lose money on that. You could hope it goes up, you could hope for 10 years and perhaps finally after you’ve been wrong all this time that hope could mean £2 per share. Not really investing though is it. Well not great investing if looking for a return. Perhaps look at alternative strategies with this or alternative shares.
I’m positive about making money and I’m positive this with all the history will continue to decline.

If you post anything about predicting the price will continue to fall you are criticised for being negative.
No one knows which way it will go as someone pointed out when I predicted a fall some time back - plenty of people recommended the post about me knowing ‘ABSOLUTELY NOTHING’ . Not here to gloat but here to help. Anticpaiing or predicting a fall is not negative. It’s good to have alternative views.
Without takeover news, a toll deal, a major unexpected investor or two I now suspect we will break below 20.
Hopers gonna hope for higher and feel hurt if their hopes don’t come true.

Lots of folks looking for confirmation bias rather than looking at what’s really happening/happened over the last 10 years.
I hope the share price goes up as I have for over a decade. I hope we get a toll deal or even bought.
I’m also realistic

Share price down, gold price down. Lots of great news to help the confirmation bias and plenty of 10 year hopes. I used to hope that we would see a fair value vs peers, a toll deal, a rising share price but sometimes it helps to take the opposite view. I’m not wedded to the company and really should look at the chart over 3, 6 months, 5 years. Lots of progress happens on the ground but the share price is going one way. Bury heads in the sand and say one day or take a look in another direction. Tell me I know nothing

It’s a good buy in price, we’ll done. Im expecting sluggish downward movement to be continued and will look to potentially buy in on a major dip around 34/35.
All is great here except timescales, toll deals, land purchases, funding, trading across the pond and elections.
