I meant 150kt for Q2 not 150mt.....

Yes I think you could be right regarding price, however, in today’s announcement two things caught my eye:
Q2 looking good for 150mt mined ore ;
Increasing grades of gold.
From memory and I’m not trying to guild the lily, unit costs are falling and additional equipment expected inQ3 should further enhance production and dare I say recovery rates....
I’m expecting H1 revenues of in excess of £12m and guess we don’t have too long to wait to see if I’m in the ballpark.

For years with very little volume. Today huge volume for MPL and yet the SP continues to slide, I’m a bit confused. Hopefully, it’s not just market makers getting through their stock and bad news coming our way....nevertheless, I’ve bought a few more but I’m not that confident. Anyone out there got any theories on today’s action?

As is a director buy in January for 800,000 at 1.225p. Something new must be afoot, surely....why else all this traction?

But where is the interest coming from? I’ve held shares in this company for far too long and there’s hardly any trades but today and at similar prices that have been around for a while it’s a sea of blue and I’m guessing circa 200 trades, so far...I’m flummoxed.... lol

Looking forward to the Q2 numbers being released next month and if all goes to plan I’m expecting the herd to arrive then. Just noticed that 1.9p has been paid, my policy of buying on the dips may just have came back to bite me!!!! That said there’s still time until July....

Hsbc quoting 1.8p for a smallish buy....... gla, we might hit 2p after all....

Fingers crossed that we hit two pence here today.....

This is taken from the Outlook section of the Yr End Accounts announcement:

· Strategy remains unchanged

· Balance sheet will support current project work

· Regional credit market, the global health crisis and the oil price volatility make conventional term debt challenging; discussions around alternative funding options ongoing.

Sure alternative funding could mean an equity issue but I think something more exotic is coming our way.....imho

Bit surprised at today’s movement but I still think there’s more to come and I’m thinking additional finance will be a loan or mezzanine rather than a equity raise at today’s SP.
Just my thoughts obviously.
