Our local MP...former occupation : delivery driver for Royal Mail and union rep inhouse. Somehow or another he was adopted by the local party, put up and elected, which gives some credence to the myth that the electorate vote party rather than person the end result being....you could dress up a monkey and put it up...the idiots would still vote party not bothering about the monkey in the suit.

Do the elected forget that they represent constituencies that voted to leave....next general election their coats could be on shaky nails when the electorate there realise their MP toed a party line in preference to carrying out the electorates wishes. Viva la Revolucion

Thats been the name of the game since the ref result was made known....the holders of cash and property want London to thrive...the rest of the country can get on with it...2 years of would be negotiation..nothing resolved that all our elected MPs can agree on, rival party bickering, fault finding, do anything other than get it done and dusted. We learn nothing from history....when the whole of Ireland was part of the Empire, those in the know decreed that the irish peasants could get on with their problem of starvation...hence the turmoil there ever since. London has long neglected the rest of the counties and countries that make up the UK. Wealth, power and comforts are always nearest the Crown. Westminster will eventually lose NI, Scotland and Wales, all of which have had their major industries stripped and shipped south. The big difference now is London will feel it this time around when the industries...foreign owned, depart these shores.
