LGB. Thanks Yogibear for these recent posts. I must admit I was a tad worried this Friday but all seems to be well and your posts concur with other reports I have heard. Brief, but nonetheless, relevant feature in Shares Magazine. I'm no expert, just a humble and hopeful investor. Let's hope we see some more positive publicity soon in National Press... Not to mention the SP which reflects a move towards current NAV.

TNL. There is either another big brother waiting to make an offer or Tinsley have the resources and drive to see this one through on their own - they've done a pretty good job in the last 12 months. Bought in today. Not that I'm an expert. Just another one of my hunches after doing a bit of research.

LGB. Looks like this one is at make or break. Scary times. Has any one seen any press reports? Here's hoping we get some +ve news soon.

For what it is worth there is a newspaper report in the Yorkshire News. www.ypn.co.uk I have a stake in LGB having bought in during the CCO days. Fortunately I am currently sitting on a small profit but hoping that the sp will at least meet the NAV of 205 half way to around 130p. Agree with you GedW and Giggabytes - it's still a good buy. One the announcements come about the property developments, possibly end November, maybe others will sit up and take note. Until they get more exposure in the national press I can't see much change in the price. Also I understand that they are still awaiting some funds to be released from Brazillian govt.

I lost out on this one....and consider it another steep learning curve. I am interested in more info about the third party interest. I thought that since RAF are happy and accepted that it is more or less signed and sealed. Would welcome thoughts on this.

LGB. You're right Tim20006 it is just a drop in the ocean. I'm in for the Med/Long term. Property in Europe is a wise investment. Thanks for the constructive reassurance.

RAF. I'm not too concerned about the offer of .39 ...yes it is very low. For every 200 RAF shares we will get 1 LGB (currently trading at 75p). Although NAV = 2.05 If the share price for LGB rises then the news is not so bad.

LGB. I'm trying very hard to understand your stance on this one GedW. I need more convincing. I have spent the last months being convinced that LGB would be on the rise because of the 2.20 NAV. I have watched it rise and fall but maintained a steady rise nonetheless. LGB have a stubsantial sum of cash in the Bank. Fact. Are they going to blow it all on one company (speculation). Comments anyone?? Are they committed to buying out RAF. Not yet. Time will tell. How much will this dilute LGB's SP - if at all. Regards from a concerned shareholder.

RAF. I've been following this one for a while now as well. Seeing as Mr Pearson is the Chairman I am not surprised at the bid proposal - as Herschel indicates, it is only a proposal at present. My understanding of LGB leads me believe that that they are more interested in Real Estate so I think that this is where the real money will go - excuse the pun. So I think this is only a slice of the money that they will be investing from their Brazillian inheritance. Would be interested in your thoughts on this GedW as I your posts are always packed full of constructive comments and fact. Do you think that Mr Pearson will be cutting his connection with Real Affinity and looking for other opportunities?

RAF. I'm kicking myself now for not topping up this week. RAF has appeared this morning on the Takover Panel. LGB have invested in them!! Intersting days ahead.

SCR. The Chinese Market has had some positive press recently. I'm with GedW on this one and I have a hunch that this one could go places. Interesting also to see both recent Director dealing and Majedie Investment. Yes it does seem to have bumbled along for quite a while but something has got to give at some point. Let's hope for the better, soon. imho dyor

MAT. Any ideas on today's purchase of 30000 shares @ .70 ??? Bemused. Am I missing something obvious? Always eager to learn.

LGB. I certainly will be watching. The cash deposits are earning 7.5% annual interest etc... I am hoping that there will be some press coverage before the 27th that will give trading a further boost and draw in some new investors. Once the news hits the public the price will go up. I bought into these recently as a small punt after a tip off. Looks like you're already ahead of the game GedW. After I did some research I was convinced there could be something in this and then read your recent posts. Looks like I could learn a few things. Any other hot tips on the horizon??

Hi Yogibear Been watching this one for some months now (I and a few others) it has certainly sent the heart rate up and looks very promising. Check out the Crown Corp (CCO) RNS on 25/6. Since then funds have successfully been released to Langbar and we are now waiting for next RNS with good news that should see SP go up further. This is probably stuff you already know but for others watching as well - good luck.

Oh well, maybe not. I'm holding for now as they only had a 5% stake so maybe still good news to follow. Plenty of oil to still make profit. Interesting to see number of buys after todays RNS.

MOI. Got in as well on this a few days ago. They have links with LGB so figured they might coincide. Looks go so far. Regards
