Recent good news from the FDA Advisory Committee, director buying and the sp goes down.I know that it went up first and this could be a tree shake or market manipulation but,to me,there is no good reason for the decrease.
Many thanks, I have been invested here for around 13 or 14 years.Just put them away in the hope that, one day, they would come good. It's currently looking pretty good and fingers crossed for good news on the 12th of July.
I haven't kept a really close eye on the company, just an occasional look at the sp.Things seem to be improving of late, perhaps Shatter would be kind enough to inform me of what is going to happen on the 12th of something. GLA.
I must post downbeat content more often.Since my last lament, the SP has has risen from 148.80 to its present level.Lol.
Having watched the SP plummet from 12p, I spurned the opportunity to buy at 3p and look what has happened! I have not sold any of my shares in the company as it would result in a fairly large loss, just kept hoping that it would, eventually, come good. Let's hope that it's not a case of "Live in hope, die in despair "!!!
Hi NBO, spot on,post recommended.
Thanks for your sympathy but that won't assuage my financial paper loss. No doubt there are others in the same position as myself whose numbers are legion but they don't voice their opinion as they have given up hope of either breaking even or making a profit. Such is the despondency of ex Skyepharma shareholders.
Last sentence should be "any",not "you."
Got the short end of the stick in the merger with Vectura,in my opinion. Having been a LTH for around 14 years and suffering quite a large paper loss,I was astounded by the boards decision re the merger ,just when near term development was showing signs of future profitability leading to a massive re rate in the share price. The Skyepharma directors were given enough incentive to make them accept the merger, the shareholders, as so often happens, got shafted. The SP of Vectura on the day of the merger was £1.60,a price not seen since, even though good news is forthcoming. I don't suppose that I,and many other ex Skyepharma shareholders will ever get their original investment back,my break even point is over £15.00,I would be happy to get half back, and you more and I would be ecstatic. GLA.
Volcano, I didn't know that as I only came on board via Skyepharma I mistakenly thought that Vectura were joining the Ftse 250 from AIM.Thanks for the info. GLA.
That entry to the ftse 250 will enhance the sp quite significantly, the AIM market is open to manipulation. GLA.
