Starbright has called it correctly. When a company has a huge spike the first time, everyone and his mother gets in. Ukog last summer gwmo/ggp/eme/nuog/farn etc etc.. Someone always gets left holding the baby though, and sometimes the company gets a rep as a pump n dump that has to dilute regularly to stay afloat.

Last couple of months have been great for Ukog, plus the fracking news but PI's fear getting burned here. I don't think flow numbers are going to move this SP really, not up beyond 4p and staying there anyway, lots here will have exit targets at 3p anyway.

I think it is a case of patience now, the company has to prioritise production at HH and getting the big bucks in, and from there the SP will go through the roof. Exploration is risky, production much less so. GLA

Not a new investor, but will share how I found Bushveld.
Reading through various RNS releases last June, and found BMN (repaying Barak financing early)

Next step was reading the board here, was impressed with the technical nature of discussion and although I didn't (and still don't) understand every detail, I was inspired to buy my first shares at around 9.5p.
Have followed the company closely since, with their own releases/B.Perspective and Twitter. I'd like to echo the sentiment of others regarding thanks to the LTHs for their insight and particularly Alfacomp for the trading analysis.

Hello everyone. Does anyone have any FY profit predictions at present, vague or otherwise? I think someone floated 60mill the other day?? I'm sniffing round other companies, not just mining sector, looking at how they compare with Bushveld in terms of pre tax profits > Mcap. Thanks in advance for any figures.

agree faramog, would rather they started with a >1% yield (say) and grew it, rather than a blockbuster that retreated in the future.

Yep. Pretty much every stock/fund I own is being pounded this week - most for no apparent reason.

... wonder why it is not up today. And here you have your answer, anyone who bought in at over 2 p this morning would be feeling pretty rubbish wouldn't they? Sure, it might go back up and I hope it does but people are very wary of getting spiked in this share. Some bloke predicted it would finish 1.92 today and you laughed him out of town didn't you. UK Oil and Gas has performed brilliantly this summer, but due to their ramping antics last year people are nervy and I don't blame them because I got caught up in it too. This share is a good reminder that we all need to think very carefully before we hit the buy or the sell button

I like Gym Group GYM, up 34% in 2018 not including dividend payments. Not exciting in the way that your other 95% is though mate...

*First thing I do when researching a new company is toss there name into advfn, if you do this for BMN the financials section doesn't show what's really going on. Put yourself in the shoes of someone who has just heard of BMN for the first time today:

I'd say by end Sept '19 there should be more than enough info to show the growth, and the potential. Figures don't lie and Bushveld profits reported 11 months from now could be ridiculous. GLA

... has written this off I think. Even with good news I think we'll struggle to get above a penny, which doesn't help LTHs.. New buyers will fear getting spiked, can't imagine many people have this on their watchlist (who aren't invested already)

I think this has turned into a dodgy coin flip bet really, if you enter now at .65 then an important rns will either cut your holding in half or add 50%. Good luck all of us.

Verony. You only have to look at the share price a year ago (around 6.30p) and it's steady decline to where it is today to see why people are cautious.

The bad operations at BB, long periods of silence, sneaking out bad news between xmas and new year, crippling finance with YA and goodness knows how many placings this summer... All the signs of classic AIM doggery are there. There's only so much money to go around and there have been many better opportunities elsewhere, not just on AIM either! If I'd sold my Ukog shares at the turn of the year and bought either SKY or Amazon I'd be over 60% up now, not even including dividends and sleeping soundly.

I hope Ukog comes good, I really do. I only have about £2500 in here, but @ 6p a share so I have a lot of ground to make up! Gla

Morning everyone. So much more to this company than Vanadium as we know, from Interim results RNS:

During commissioning of the VRFB, a performance issue was experienced, and initial assessments confirmed a vanadium electrolyte constraint. As a result, the battery was not able to meet the specified operational performance. It was also determined that it would not be possible to resolve the constraint in South Africa at this time and a remediation strategy was immediately implemented. The remediation includes the provision of new electrolyte and hardware for the DC module of the battery. This will allow commissioning to resume and be completed in Q4 2018. The Company will provide an update on progress in November 2018.

Looking forward to the update next month, it's quite rare for a company to pigeon hole a certain month for an update - usually offering the 'we will update shareholders at the appropriate time' which gives them leeway to flake. I love the way this company is run and like most here, see it as vastly undervalued.
