I've had a quick sniff around the 1BN Mcap Aim 50 companies. TBF they are all different sectors to us, but none of them are making anywhere near the profit Bushveld does, still a long long way to go till we see fair value. Q4 is going to be an immense profit, can't wait for the H2 figures. GLA

Dipped in today, feels like a good entry point. Lots of good companies have taken a beating this last month or two. Impossible timing the bottom but happy with 12.49 to get in.

That there's still a very long way to go with Bushveld Minerals. This could/should be a heavy news month here:

Bushveld Energy plans, Q3 Vametco update, possibly Dividend structure revealed and much more... FM always has something up his sleeve.

I hope this becomes like Amazon in years to come, when you see articles saying, "If you'd invested £5000 in the late 90's...…"

Good to see a bit of a recovery today, everything is up though. Thought I'd caught the bottom in the high 5s early this month but proved to be wrong. Happy holding here though and picking up the divis. GLA

Rob. True, but with the wealth of news that could land imminently if I were them I'd be wearing bicycle clips everytime I opened an RNS.

Open question:

How closely do MMs follow news/commodity prices/sentiment etc? If Alfacomp's fantastic efforts are accurate then it seems the MM is playing a precarious game. Would they not be better cutting their loss and making it back (and more) by going long?

There are plenty of AIM dogs to go shorting with, but surely they're better running a neutral position here and making profit on the spread, particularly as volume should improve further with the company's prospects.

ocelot, I am talking about OP Updates at Broadford Bridge, not TR1s which are of course necessary.
I counted 10 op updates all basically saying 'oil shows at BB' or 'further oil shows' etc.. It's there in black and white.
