I agree with Daisan, and as a result of people trading back; there will be a lot of money on the sidelines waiting for a turn in V price or other news and it'll be back in like a shot, then presumably it'll be NT all the way..

April 2017 - Approx BMN prices 7-8p
April 2018 15-18p
April 2019 30-33p

So, the share is basically doubling every year at the current rate, by any yardstick that is awesome. I'm not insinuating that the SP will therefore be 60-65p this time next year obviously - it could be less (or more) - but with the 2019 YTD figures being disappointing thus far it's easy to forget the incredible returns Bushveld has provided for shareholders. Consolidating periods are inevitable and I find it hard to believe that new highs wont be reached this year.

Not long lunches Alfa, we're choosing to read the article in it's Mandarin form obviously, hence the hushed atmos.

I would urge holders to try not to panic regarding the share price; the best companies in the world have peaks and troughs:

I just googled the year chart for Glencore, the peak price (around £4.09) was over 50% higher than the bottom.
Antofagasta: Peak price (£11.71) was 64% higher than the bottom.

This company is growing, has no known debt and believes it can almost quadruple 2018 production within 5 years.

There will be profit takers, shorters, MMs but there could also be many multiples of 30p. These are the times to be greedy for those that believe. GLA

I would assume about a penny, but there is never a bottom with AIM shares so please don't take this as advice.

Averaging down is a good plan when a company has taken a dip but is on its way back, for example Taylor Wimpey which was £2.10 then dropped to about £1.30 with all the Brexit nastiness and is now £1.87 as of today. Anybody who bought TW. shares in the £1.30-£1.60 range to average down made a good move, especially as the company pays a large dividend.

Averaging down on a share where the trend is down and has no guarantee of returning is the road to financial ruin I'm afraid, the old investment phrase thrown about regularly is:

Don't throw good money after bad.

Drowningman - Sorry to hear this! I was buying in November as well, so appreciate how you feel although my personal investment is not on a time limit

I've long felt that BMN can reach a billion mcap on mining alone and offer a sustainable dividend, and this is still very much the case - so in the long run you should still have made a great investment. Nobody can ever accurately predict the timing of these things though; you could be in profit by the end of the month, or next month or later in 2019, possibly even 2020 but the quality of the company and it's perceived undervaluation are very much fact.

Self imposed missed deadlines are indeed an own goal, lessons will be learned by the BOD I am sure.

I wouldn't want FM rushing out a pointless statement for purposes of reassurance or as an attempt to steady the SP, that's AIM naffery at its best.

When Dunelm shares were down in the dumps last year one of the directors filled his boots, he's laughing now - as is anyone else who bought when they were 6 quid.

Indeed. Thanks Alfa. BMN is such a weird share to short, given the financial difficulty that some companies are in.. Or the many overvalued business' that don't (and may never) turn a profit. Seems like there are many better choices available for those punts.
