Gun and ukog like comparing apples with oranges...the threat of more dilution is what is holding ukog sp down...When a company increases the number of shares issued, or shares outstanding, through a secondary offering it generally has a negative effect on a stock's price.While an absolute increase in a company's net income is a welcome sight, investors focus on what each share of their investment is producing. An increase in a company's capital base dilutes the company's earnings because they are spread among a greater number of shareholders. Without a strong case for maintaining and/or boosting EPS, investor sentiment for a stock that is subject to a potential dilutive effect will be negative. Although this isn't automatic, the prospect of share dilution will generally hurt a company's stock price.

DHC...My sentiments entirely... I don't like being strung along. I don't like fudge and I don't like statements like enhancing shareholder value when the reality is the converse and this has fallen from 1.8p to 1p / sub 1p. It actually matters not what I think as the market is making its own mind up...well said

My worry is ss is not driven by creating shareholder value just growing the company whilst oblivious to the financial impact on the Sp. Whilst continuing to raise money through give away priced placing's, and continued dilution...this is not what he has lead the shareholders, who have financed UKOG over the last few years to believe...

In Fact on reflection it should be made illegal for a company just to do a placing out of the blue, to raise funds for no apparent reason without shareholder consultation, then give no explaination where the money has gone ...this is my opinion.

Brocal53...agree 100% we should have been told what the placing was for...even a non specific reason...ie i other company involved no names mentioned...just even a hint or some reassurance that the money was for a very good reason...ie in the shareholders interest...

Well I remain because over the last 2 years I have invested a fair bit of hard earned in here, and 40% of it is gone, on paper, will continue to call a spade a spade...with the hope that eventually the company will realise that it is responsible to the shareholders...and hopefully get atleast my money back...dont get me wrong ukog has immense potential...in 2 ways, 1 deliver some shareholder value...2 carry on with building MC, at the expence of shareholder value and more dilution...I am concerned but not selling...

The missing 3.5 million is still a puzzle though ??

I was on a gas production platform several years ago when a young apprentice accidentally hit the yellow shut down button...the platform was producing 5 million gbp a day...he was called in for the investigation, and asked was he aware how much money was lost, with loss of production...he replied yes, no money was lost the gas is still down there, and you will get the same money just a day later...
