As far as I am aware
To short a stock, you need to borrow it, there are no major IIs to borrow from (if there was, there'd be the > 3% TR1 to prove it), and there are no declared short positions above 0.5% (as again, they would be declared)...

None of the CFD providers allow you to short UKOG, as there's no one to borrow the stock off (see point above)...

You 'might' be able to open a spread bet, which will require a pool of people willing to go long to offset the short bet (possible), but as SBs don't actually involve the exchange of shares they have no impact on SP...

So where are all of these shorts that people on here keep banging on aboutt

I told you this yesterday...Just for you Lucky-Strike this is why I am still invested... and I am sure theres many more like me... I have to say anyone trying to defend SS is actually a disgrace, he has led genuine investors a merry dance, we all know investing is no guarantee of riches, but SS has deliberately led us to believe in his plan which was, is seriously flawed, with promising investors value? With his only interest further dilution and a continuing salary for himself, I have found after being invested and continually investing here for over 3 years, the only way to get value is to jump on the rampers bandwagon and let them frantically whip up a buying frenzy and try and sell on the spikes, get your timing right and sell, then if you have the stomach for it buy back in after the inevitable drop, get your average down and repeat if the chance arises, I feel sorry for new investors but that’s the way it is, I wish I realised this years ago, but hey ho I hope I can escape with something eventually, I wish I had seen through the professional rampers ie Fool on the hill Tymers, Heid, Trollhunter2 Just to name a few of many, they were hard core, then there is the orchestrated bunch that arrive and disappear just as fast...Good luck to all investors.I don’t profess to know the outcome of the get Sanderson out campaign, or if it would be good for what’s left of the company, or indeed what’s left of my investment, but I am getting some sort of satisfaction that the smug cunning and deceitful one, finally knows that the majority of the private investors that have funded his lifestyle for the last 3 years or more, are not prepared to take any more of his dishonest flannel, I hope he can’t sleep at night, and at some time gets brought to task for his reckless actions and total disregard to shareholders...

Without a doubt in my three and a half years investing in ukog, penguins has been the most honest poster on here, backing up his posting with facts...and anyone that challenges that has blinkered vision...

I have been listening to your wind and puff for years now, and as the facts have unfolded up to now your version of how things will unfold are exactly that wind and puff, ... tell us some hard facts that would encourage someone to invest in ukog before a major placing that would quantify a recommendation of a strong buy?

I would say most are waiting to see if they can get a placing away, and at what discounted price it will be along with how much dilution will be involved, before as you say “loading up”
