We could do with some news to stop the share price from slowly falling everyday. Soon it will be back to 83p at this rate.
It is also good to see share trades happing for Bango. They have been scarce lately with many days only have 10 or less trades. So maybe now it is moving it will keep moving upwards with more interest?
Hi all, I don't often post on boards like this but do follow (I do hold shares). It does amaze me with Bango that they make profit earlier than targeted with Audiens yet the price doesn't really move? Everything is done with App's nowadays on mobile phones/TV's/Consoles etc. If they have hit Audien's target early then I am sure they will have hit their own targets?
This is what Finncap says today about Bango
"Bango (BGO): Corp
A wheel of fortune
These are exciting times for Bango as it matures and expands. After many years building merchant and carrier
connections and volumes, the payment processing platform has reached profitability and will rapidly scale revenue on a
fixed cost base. The data business is a natural evolution, driving greater payment volumes in a steadily accelerating
virtuous circle; adding more data sources will spin it ever faster. Well-managed by an experienced team and uniquely
positioned in a high growth industry, we launch coverage with the Interims in a seminal year: Bango is now fully funded
and its revenues continue to grow rapidly, targeting breakeven this year and promising significant cash profits from next.
We feel the market has yet to fully appreciate the exciting prospects for Bango and set a 225p target price."
I think Finncap has set a target price of 225p for Bango this morning.
Hi all, I have held Bango shares for some time now and have followed this chat for sometime but never posted. I am surprised to see that no-one has posted anything about the 'Suspend and resume' service that Bango has developed? I got an email this morning from them about this service but there is no RNS. Bango don't always seem to publish 'public' RNS but post some updates/news on their website instead.
Hi all first post on this Bango forum but I have been watching for some time. I also have an email from Bango telling me about the music streaming service but it is not showing here still or on HL etc?
Hello to all as Im currently away on holiday in Northen Peru, Im doing my best keep up with the news (6 hours behind Uk) but it is good to see Nanoco price going up! And revenue coming in wether its from sales or meeting targets it should get others and the markets to notice Nanoco more.
As I have been abroad and not been able to keep up with all the posts on here I may be repeating something that has already been posted but this monitor has QD's and only costs $999 https://hexus.net/tech/news/monitors/117557-philips-momentum-436m6-monitor-first-4k-hdr1000-visuals/
Half a million shares showing in a single transaction as a buy today...
That is an interesting and great find Infinite44. I wouldn't have thought of looking that up. It would seem that Nanoco also shipped several different shipments out last year in Nov/Dec as well for 'Acrylic polymers in primary forms'
I have just re read the note and I have realised that the new commercial supply and license agreement with a US corporation in the field of medical devices is probably CareWear's light therapy rather than a slip about the new large US Corporation!
I see that Edison say that the 'new commercial supply and license agreement with a US corporation in the field of medical devices' rather than just saying a US Corporation. I have not had chance to listen to the broadcast yet but I have read most of the update released today. I remain upbeat as it always takes so much longer than everyone thinks to get products to the market now as each zone/country has different safety test etc to comply with. Also they may already be an over supply of cadmium quantum dots for producers to use up before the CFQD are built into new displays. The ban on Cadium does not come into effect until 2019. Nanoco seem to have their fingers in as many pies as possible so to speak. If cash was going to run out they would not have won the new contract as any major corporation would have taken that into account before awarding a contract to supply x dots. No good for them if the company they award the contract to goes bust as it puts said company behind or even out of the running in a new product to the market. I think the dip is private small investors worrying that the sales are not as strong as they want and therefore panicking and selling.
I am also looking to get a new TV to replace our ageing Panasonic and will get a Qled TV but I also do not wish to part with my (our) money to a company that is not Nanoco. It will also probably come from John Lewis but it won't be 75" or 65" but by the time we find out which dots are in which televisions they will be making smaller versions by then!
Thanks BTB for the link, I have signed up and hopefully will be free to listen live.
Thanks Nigwit for that info regarding space and for writing to Caroline Watson and asking her. 10,000 sq ft is a considerable size for an expansion as it is actually doubling the size of Nanoco.
My apology if this has already been shared by Nigwit as he does most of the patent reading for all of us on here. I came across this DEVICE CONTAINING NON-BLINKING QUANTUM DOTS (73) Nanoco Technologies Limited. It is listed here on a Dutch patent site? https://www.rvo.nl/sites/default/files/octrooiportal/2018/03/Hoofdblad_IE_1018_28_februari_2018.pdf on page 108 but it was published in Feb 2018? It also mentions a REN, Xiaofan and I have found out that someone by that name works at Dow. The science is way above my level so If someone else might be able to look into it that would be great. OR is it just old news? I do not know if it is anything that is important or if indeed it has been covered before now. I do know that solving the problem of QD's blinking is a massive step forward and would make making photovoltaics, 3D molecular tracking applications, solid-state lighting, led's and quantum computing much easier and more productive. People's thoughts on the above would be appreciated. I am also currently skim reading this https://patents.google.com/patent/US20100289001
Thanks Mars1, Lots of high-tech cars get tested in Milton Keynes (I'm not too far from there) such as the ones I said in the post as well as driverless cars. MK are also meant to have driverless taxi's soon just for set journeys from A to B. I don't know if they will be using LIDAR?
I tried to post this yesterday but for some reason it did not work. But this uses LIDAR technology for the senses. The partners include FORD, JLR and Tata Motors European Technical Centre. https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/industry/uk-autonomy-project-partnership-jlr-could-slash-urban-traffic I don't think my guess of AMD is going to be right!
Now I understand this is a study from 2007 but it talks about - novel potent fluorescent nanocrystals i.e., quantum dots. https://worldwidescience.org/topicpages/i/imaging+fluorescence+endoscope.htm It would seem Quantum Dots have so many uses that until you actually start looking away from displays you realise how many uses they could have and therefore how big a market it really is for QD manufacturers. Especially in the medical field and if you have cadmium free QD's it should open up real possibilities. If you really want something to read this is very long... https://www.researchgate.net/publication/227041682_Quantum_Optics_Colloidal_Fluorescent_Semiconductor_Nanocrystals_Quantum_Dots_in_Single-Molecule_Detection_and_Imaging
