Firering Strategic Minerals: From explorer to producer. Watch the video here.
If you're a LTH like myself, I expect you're delighted with 2021 being the year that SBTX took the major step into commercialisation:
1. At incredible pace, with solid results
2. In a way that offers easiest and lowest cost access
to patients
The next step is equally critical, demostrating consistent and profitable sales growth.
This will not happen overnight, it's cutting edge science and a brand new product to market.
I'm not saying the SP drop is not frustrating, of course we want it to go up in a straight line, overnight, if we had a magic wand.
Of course this will take time to become an established commercial enterprise and there's bound to be bumps.
But fundamentally speaking, today's update was entirely as expected, for those who have followed closely.
I trust the science and the people, until they give reason to think otherwise, which they absolutely have not to-date.
DYOR and GLALTHs
On most points we are agreed beinthelead, I share your frustration and appraisal of the potential impact of communicating outside of a paid subscription. I was merely considering a course of action to try and resolve.
Fair enough Jimmy, think we're agreed on the science and fundamentals, but I respectfully disagree that a company entering commercialisation with new science should be providing forecasts, in my view that would be reckless.
It would be unfair to investors to forecast revenues for a product that has only launched in recent weeks, and I think you missunderstand the situation calling for forecasts from a company who is in the process of commercialising, the CEO is not known for taking big risks, he's been pretty consistent and reasoned. DYOR all!
I think it's lookimg much stronger because the launch has been formally confirmed as successful, with expansion into Europe to occur in H1 2022, that's all great news and progressing very quickly. Plus the Croda partnership is progressing to plan and that's regular IP revenues via some of the world's largest cosmetics manufacturers coming in the New Year. 2022 is almost upon us.
Yes this is the nature of AIM. It's bot so bad for those of us who have been in since early last year or before, but I can see how it would be concerning if you entered later.
That said, the outlook remains exceptionally positive in my view, which is true for all regardless of entry point. Personally I don't need to free up money for Christmas presents, so I'm sticking!
Hi tv, yes I would be happy with more updates. Although I don't think we can moan! AFC has consistently delivered limited news flow. We all should have considered typical news flow before investing, if important to us. It seems some have either not researched thoroughly, or missunderstood.
I think this has been discussed at length, the orders were never guaranteed, they were expected. It seems some have continued to invest having missinderstood the difference between the two.
If more orders don't appear until the New Year, I'll still be invested. Everyone needs to make their own decision of course.
GLALTHs
Yes absolutely, as far as I can make out it's a gold dust opportunity - collecting ongoing IP revenue, with marginal cost of sale, driven by some of the world's largest cosmetics manufacturers. The margin will be huge, as will the sales and revenue volumes.
All in all, as expected. Amazing progress this year and it's all about 2022 now!
Sales data will be released in March, so don't expext we'll get much more tangible updates on the launch until then.
The Sederma opportunity remains the area of greatest interest for me personally. I'd like to know more about what the process and milestones are related to 'confirming cosmetic claims' quote...
'With the Croda/Sederma partnership, the focus for 2022 will be to confirm the cosmetic claims for the SkinBiotix® technology as a cosmetic active ingredient and generate traction with Sederma's key clients, with the aim of future potential revenue streams for SkinBioTherapeutics.'
Perhaps Stuart might reveal more about what is specifically happening right now and the process ahead in one of his upcoming interviews?
This is such an interesting thread. The next question in my mind is, why do the silent positive majority not get more involved in discussions and sharing opinions?
Could be the board environment? Could just be that their purpose is more about gaining insights and opinions than others rather than being here to share? Or lots of other potential reasons?
To be fair, Ceres is only up a similar amount to AFC, it's only ITM that have surged further ahead today, so I don't think that's any indication that AFC would be down were it not for the general sector sentiment. Unless I've missed something?
