I think we do need an update by end of month… the rns after the gm said CHP needed to make its investment commitment by end of September, I think because alba needs to show it has the funds by October… but I might be wrong/ confused! Either way, I’m sure alba has the funds, so an end of month/ early October announcement that they’re cracking on will be huge news

Steve58 made a good point about a prepared speech, so could be we get something tomorrow - or even next week. Here’s hoping for wonderful news.

Nothing has been said about it. I believe we’re making an assumption that Jim would share some positive alba news at the even this morning and an RNS might follow…

The price is going to go up and down based on news cycles and quiet moments as people get excited and jump in for a quick win.

Ultimately, the aim of the game is for CHP to do well and the shareprice to rise. Patience is key here. Looking forward to the future.

Had a nice reply from CHP re. John Story. Wasn’t much news they can share about him personally, but he’s made other investments so CHP is now part of his portfolio and he must have some confidence. People like that don’t take risks lightly!

Just had a reply from Peterhouse, who have said they have forwarded my query onto CHP. Even though I told them that CHP told me to contact them…

Yeah I haven’t been here to know about the Vela days. Culture change takes a while? Hopefully Jim is working on turning this place around…

I’m still confident this is going to pan out. Imminent threw us all. With no update since then.

But with recent investments and Alba recruitment, I’m sure they’re fairly confident Alba will get the licence. Last recruitment I saw was customer service staff - surely the last people you employ?

But the updates on it have been shocking…

Fair enough. Why did you put your money in here? You don’t seem confident in their ability, but confident enough to invest? Or have I missed something…

I’ve emailed Peterhouse, I want to know what expertise etc. John Story brings to the table. His money is one thing but they must have thought he’d add value?

I’m inclined to agree something isn’t right. But also not sure why John Story would invest what he did if there wasn’t some good news on the horizon. If not from the Alba licence but other areas they’re working on in the background? I emailed the CHP investor relations email and asked if they can confirm it’s the John Story I think and they told me I’d have to ask Peterhouse Capital. Not sure what help it is knowing, but I’m curious lol.

Jim obviously has work going on with other banks, maybe if Alba doesn’t work out he’ll use what he’s started/ set up with Alba elsewhere? Not sure what good that is for us and CHP though.

They must expect some good news as the warrant exercise price was set at 0.0075p? Is that a target share price they’re looking for? I’m not educated enough so just going off what I can read and understand…
