As announced as part of the Company's full year results on 6 April 2020, we will be asking shareholders to approve a final dividend for the year ended 31 December 2019 of 25p per share, bringing the total for 2019 to 85p per share. Subject to shareholder approval, the record date for the final dividend will be 17 April 2020 and it will be payable on 7 May 2020 to shareholders on the register at close of business on 17 April 2020 (the ex-dividend date will be 16 April 2020).

OPEC++ have agreed record cuts of 23% (May-Jun) with an agreement to last for 2 years on a sliding reduction, of an average production cut of 13%. Think they may need to retain it at 23% in Junes meeting, then we should see the market improve, unless economies open up quicker than expected and we don't have phase two epidemic thrust upon the world.

Having been involved in the negotiations, to put it mildly, the number that OPEC+ is looking to cut is 20 Million Barrels a day, not the 10 Million that is generally being reported. If anything near this happens, and the World gets back to business from the Covid 19.....

RRE have $2bn of taxes paid to offset decom, HMRC will cover 40-60% of decom costs (which have been pushed out further anyway.) through rebates.

I would think now is the ideal time to complete such a transaction. AA will want to position RRE to take advantage of the upcoming surge (improvement) in O&G, not wait until there is increased competition or strengthening of target companies SP or indeed improved market sentiment.
Any deal could well take months to complete given the difficulty in obtaining specialist third party services atm. AA does not strike me to be one that suffers from indecision syndrome.

Agree, and will be used to power economic recoveries ....

As expected, integral part of the agreement was for China, India and US to take all the surplus off the market and into storage... that was not going to be done a premium.
The important point is taking OFF the market the SURPLUS, that in itself will put a floor under POO imo.

Be interesting to see how DOW closes tonight.
