@retire - Amazon is completely different business model, they offer partnerships not CFC's. Not everyone wants to have their profits rinsed by Amazon, i know i am an Amazon partner.
So do you have a short or short CFD open on OCADO, i didnt ask if you own shares?
@retireguy - it took you 24 hours to answer my question, come back with a load of twaddle trying to make yourself sound like you know what your talking about.
Customers do the decision making, NOT AI, AI has little to no use in this working environment of CFC, maybe in the design stage but not in the working environment.
Automation and software designed to run the picking system is NOT AI, the robots do as the customer instructs them they are dumb, they dont need to be intelligent.
For someone who chose their username based on 'someone with experience' i would have thought you would have understood the experience and lack of competition that OCADO have, it is a fact they have the leading technology in this field and undoubtably the most experience at implementing it.
Now going back to your earlier post, there are no competitors using AI, so you think that what 'might' happen in 10 years is affecting the share price right now?
your clutching at straws ole boy, and quite clearly dont even understand the difference of automation, robotics and AI.
@nom - because you got your xmas slot early and they have not sold means nothing my friend, we have had a late summer this year, people have been pre-occupied with other things, and what has that got to do with OCDO pulling the cat out of the bag with further CFC sales? The world is a big place, those claiming to know what is happening behind the scenes have an agenda, unless your on the board or in some way directly linked to that side of the business how on earth can you believe and make investment decision based on tripe posted on an internet forum.
Since we had reason to celebrate and break out in chorus, now the rumour of new strikes just around the corner might see Isleworth get to sing his last song.... When the chaff hits the taff you know its nearly all over.........

… Well I built my life around you
Did what I thought was right
But you never cared about me
Now I've seen the light
Uncle Simon', there ain't no pleasing you
… You seem to think that everything I ever did was wrong
I should've known it all along
Uncle Simon', there ain't no pleasing you
… You only had to say the word
And you knew I'd do it
You had me where you wanted me
But you went and blew it
Now everything I ever done
Was only done for you
But now you can go and do
Just what you wanna do
I'm telling you
… Cos I ain't gonna be made to look a fool no more
You done it once too often, what do you take me for?
Oh Simon', there ain't no pleasing you
… And you seem to think that everything I ever did was wrong
I should've known it all along
Uncle Si', there ain't no pleasing you
… You only had to say the word
And you knew I'd do it
You had me where you wanted me
But you went and blew it
Now everything I ever done
Was only done for you
But now you can go and do
Just what you wanna do
I'm telling you
… Cos I ain't gonna be made to look a fool no more
You done it once too often, what do you take me for?
Ssssssssiiiiiiimon', there ain't no pleasing you
… And if you think I don't mean what I say
And I'm only bluffing
You got another think coming
I'm tellin' you that for nothing
Uncle Simon', I'm leaving
That's what I'm gonna do......
Had a feeling that was a suckers rally, 234 support needs to hold or this could be back to 202, couple stops on way back to our old favourite 220 which is quite strong support, bottom area around 202.
I dont see this hitting 202 tbh as news is too close, but the news if bad could drive it there, anything can happen in just under 3 weeks, still to far off for this to start rising in current market conditions, like peeing in the wind on the beach with freezing cold hands, unsavoury wider conditions atm, dont look at your PF overview!
Call me an old cynic but its all games, there is no smoke without fire, the price rise to £6 was a pump just before the downgrade, thats how the city make their money placing fake trades on the order book to push the price then run it down to shake you out.
Shorting & high frequency trading control this share, always expect a sharp drop just before a big rise, my feeling is you will hear something from the board shortly via rns. Wont surprise me to see this above £5 again in coming days, my only niggle is those 2 gaps just below, we know how they like to get those filled.
If your locked in at a loss just down some day trading to add to your stock, dont put anymore in this share is fairly easy to trade to cover the stamp duty.
@Broch - yes i see they have these stupid rules, most of the time the PO dont care and just take the parcel.
Lihtium-Ion and Polymer batteries are MORE dangerous when plugged into a device, the device can short circuit through damage, the device also causes the battery to discharge at much faster rate than when the battery is out side of its device. When a lithium battery is outside of its device the discharge rate is minimal, they can sit about for years and remain charged.
The discharge rate of the battery is controlled by the BMS (battery management system) which stops it over charging or over discharging as lithium can ignite when over temperature occurs, over temp can occur when under 10% or over consistent over charge above 90%.
I understand why having it in the device it has a plastic\metal surround protecting against battery cell puncture, again protecting against fire hazard (they go off like dynamite sometimes when lithium interacts with oxygen) , but the correct method of sending is to make sure that any lithium battery is sent with at least a plastic surround\casing.
I understand general public senders wouldnt understand but most resellers\retailers understand this and PO takes the parcels no problem, providing its encased somehow.
His batteries are the smaller lead acid, the Yuasa 12v size i believe, so the good news for the day for me is i wont have top go around and listen to the god awful parrot running on again, he can make his own way to the bingo hall.
New batteries for my mates mobility scooter are in the post, hope they were not sent second class, awful service, again last week ive had to call RM to give them a nudge for an item posted start of October, miraculously it turned up yesterday.
If those batteries are kicking out about in sack up the corner somewhere might not be fit for purpose by the time they arrive, pull your finger out isleworth!
Ive been watching the buy\selling on chart on 1 second time frame for over 2 weeks, there is some big buying happening here sub £5, the drops are slow progressive, the rises are fast and big orders, not drip buying, just drip selling which says to me its the algo's keep pushing the price back down not big selling. Its finding bottom imo eventually this rise and stay up once enough buying has been completed.
