INTERSERVE WINS £35 MILLION CONTRACT WITH BARKING, HAVERING & REDBRIDGE UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS NHS TRUST
New £2.5m contract helps Instant rethink workspace 13 June 2018 On Wednesday 13th June, we announced a new two-year partnership with The Instant Group to provide flexible workspaces across England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. As part of this contract – worth £2.5 million and covering 13 of Instant’s flexible offices - we will deliver a consolidated service solution to bring consistency and deliver a high-quality experience to Instant’s customers. It will provide cleaning services, including window cleaning, pest control and washroom hygiene and consumables. This win builds on the long and successful relationship we have with Instant, which began back in 2010. Jeff Flanagan, Managing Director – Commercial, Support Services, said: “Instant takes the pain out of finding flexible, high-quality workspaces so that their customers can concentrate on doing what they do best. Having a facilities partner who can seamlessly fit into this model, to provide the first-rate experience that its client demands is vital to the company’s offer. “Over the past seven years we’ve developed valuable insight into Instant’s business, and I’m confident that we’ll continue to deliver a tailored and responsive service that supports its commercial offer and the needs of its customers.” Matt Turner, supply chain director at the Instant Group, said: “Offering a seamless working environment to our customers is our priority. Interserve has proven that it has both capability and scale to support this across the UK and we look forward to growing our relationship with them.”

On Wednesday 16th May, Interserve Procurement is changing. For the first time across Citizen Services and Projects, Construction, Group Centre and Support Services (in the UK), were coming together to change the way were buying our goods and services for teams and clients across Interserve so its standardised and more cost-effective. Now we have our long-term refinancing agreed, its critical that through the Fit for Growth Programme we continue to reduce our costs to meet our financial commitments to our lenders. As Debbie White has shared, we cant continue the way we are, we have to change. The way we procure our goods and services at Interserve plays a key role in driving this new one Interserve way of working.
