Seingred, I don't scoff at anyone's "gains", what people do with their own money is their own business. What I take umbrage to is crypto cultists coming on this board and spreading nonsense trying to get others to buy into the scam. These second order mid-wits (no offense) cannot accept that they are essentially gambling so they come out with all kinds of reasons for why crypto is the next big thing to justify it in their minds. Having had 20+ years as a dev and working in fintech gives me a clear view on the truth of it, and seeing all these people trying to pull others into the scam is not just sad it's offensive, so we speak out. If I saw a person trying to sell drugs around my kid's school I would say something, wouldn't you? I can't say if the price of crypto will go up or down. What I can tell you is that it is useless, and worthless. Do with that information as you will.

This is a board to discuss Condor Gold, if you want to talk about crypto then there's the other 99% of the internet where you can do just that. If people insist on talking about crypto here then expect more push back.

Just for the record, I'm a senior engineer for a fintech company and when anyone says "you don't understand blockchain" it makes me laugh my ass off. Hmm f7ash perhaps there is something you can teach me about tech and why, despite billions in funding, no one has been able to find a genuine market use case for blockchain (besides gormless speculation of course).

In actual fact, I find the idea of technocratic central bank-backed hedge funds pumping trustless decentralised tech as the next trillion dollar industry somewhat ironic.

Frenchie, the PFS from 2014 stated that scenario B (La India Open Pit + Feeder Pits + Underground) had an all-in sustaining cost of US$697 / oz, so there has been a US$261 increase. Now that figure has to account for seven years of (massive!) inflation so this is not surprising, in fact should probably be higher! I was just wondering what component was the biggest contributing factor (energy/labour costs/etc).

Very interesting indeed. So he leaves Calibre to join Condor with an options heavy package just as Condor are about to finance a mine build in part by issuing equity... I doubt Mr Seaberg would have agreed to this if he thought his options would be diluted heavily by the financing. So we have another senior manager who is incentivised not to see heavy dilution, works for me! Good move Mark.

Does feel like the pieces are being positioned for the endgame. Can't wait to see the PFS's next month.

We are so close to the end (of the beginning!) of this journey, now is not the time to lose hope. Remember, the price action does not reflect the fundamentals of the project. And if mr market ignores us all the way then sit back and collect those inevitable dividends, either way we will be rewarded.

Sorry obv meant reserves not resource, however both numbers will be interesting to see. The PEAs should provide a new indicated/inferred resource numbers (currently ~2.4m ozs combined), with the BFS providing a new reserves number (currently 675k ozs). Will we push the resource up to 3m ozs this year? Will our reserves break 1m ozs? We will see!

I hear you tester, it's frustrating but it's something that I consider a "market" issue rather than a "condor" issue. We have no control over the market, but the things we do have control over (i.e. the running of the company, drilling strategy, raising money, derisking, etc) MC and co are doing pretty much everything right (or as right as can be reasonably expected).

Mark is clearly very confident about the project and the major shareholders appear to have confidence in him and the strategy so we can only be patient. What the market will do, who knows? Things are so upside down now I really don't know which will come first - Condor being rerated or a complete soviet-style collapse of the global financial system!!

RR you forgot the biggest factor weighing on Condor, and it has nothing to do with company newsflow - the investment sentiment towards gold equities. Since 2011 we've been waiting for the cycle to move back in favour of gold equities/commodities but after ten long years it still has not. Sadly, governements and central banks seem to be throwing everything at preventing the cycle from shifting, including buying equities out right (do you think they're buying mining shares?). Clearly these are not normal "markets" and no one could have forseen this. The only question is, for how long can they fight market forces...

Regarding Condor, actually it has done very well and not underperformed other junior gold equities, but without a change in investment sentiment our share price (like others) will be heavily weighed on. I am hoping the move from explorer to producer will see some kind of rerate but honestly I just don't know anymore. The world has literally been turned upside down!

Tester I think it's possible for that to still happen. The BFS should be out sept/oct (latest) so I'm hoping once that's out things will kick into high gear. I expect MC already has a plan for capex raise and this is about dotting the "i"s and crossing the "t"s.

I agree! As you've said previously, I expect that a significant portion of the mine build capex will be raised by issuing equity via TSX. I think Mark has even mentioned this in interviews previously.
