EA extends schools IT contract with Capita The Northern Ireland Education Authority has extended its contract with Capita to provide ICT services for over 1,100 schools in Northern Ireland. The two-year extension is expected to be worth greater than £50m and will run until March 2019. The original £170m five-year contract began in 2012. The contract sees Capita provide a managed IT service to every primary, post-primary and special needs school in Northern Ireland, providing services to over 300,000 pupils and 50,000 teachers and support staff. Capita supports schools in their use of ICT to support teaching and learning both within and beyond the classroom through a range of services and software. This includes provision of Capita SIMS management software to every school. Andy Parker, Capita’s Chief Executive, said: “Over the past five years we’ve worked closely with schools across Northern Ireland to deliver a huge range of IT services, enabling them to introduce innovative technology solutions to improve teaching and learning. It is testament to the quality of the service provided by the Capita team that the Northern Ireland Education Authority has chosen to extend its contract for another two years.” The contract is delivered by Capita Managed IT Solutions, which is based in Newtownabbey in Northern Ireland.

And finally I did one more top up in Paysafe (PAYS). A great update this morning - at top end of expectations. Indeed a top broker has given it a 560p target. It would be no surprise to see another shorting attack given some of the shorters could now be well out of pocket and desperate to drive the price down. I think they shot their load last time unless they can think of something new. Also cleverly PAYS is buying back shares. Burned shorters may get even hotter. Looks like Paysafe are going to do a big acquisition. I suspect now one to hold for a couple of years and not worry about volatility unless something really goes wrong. Thx to ODYS2 on ADVFN

Well at least PEPM seem to have had enough. Reduced again to 1.26% Almost daily change for them now.

So shorts are still reducing. PEPM was 2% on 16th Dec now they are 1.32% on 12th Jan Buybacks are buying a good volume of shares each day yet the SP is struggling? What am I missing here?

Just looking at the volumes in the last buyback RNS. Saw a few 2's and a 1 share being bought. Strange, why would they buy 1 share? Or such low numbers?

Mean's that the £100m buyback will cover all the shorts that are open on Paysafe plus more. Must admit if I was a short I'd be closing as quickly as I could!
