c. Perform water sampling if requested. The Regional Water Quality Control Board must be given at least 2 working days of notice prior to sampling. Results of water sampling must be provided to the Division, the Regional Water Quality Control Board, the State Water Resources Control Board, the requesting surface owner, and any tenant to the extent authorized by the tenant’s lease.
ii. If no neighbors identified:
a. Ensure 3rd party completes and submits Declaration of Notification (green tabs) form to Division (72 hours prior to WST.) (Form OG172)
C. Perform pressure testing:
i. Surface Equipment:
a. Notify the Division at least 24 hours prior to conducting the surface equipment pressure testing.
b. Conduct surface equipment pressure testing, no more than 30 days prior to commencing WST, but after all operations that could affect the integrity of the equipment are complete.
ii. Well Integrity:
a. Notify the Division at least 24 hours prior to conducting the well integrity pressure testing.
b. Conduct 30 minute well integrity pressure testing, no more than 30 days prior to commencing WST.
c. Provide charting of pressure testing of well integrity (minimum 12 hours prior to commencing operations).
D. At least 72 hours prior to WST commencement:
i. Provide documentation of cement evaluation (minimum 72 hours prior to commencing operations).
ii. Notify the Division of any changes from the original notice while drilling, redrilling, or reworking with updatedWell Stimulation Review Area (Form OG177) for well to be stimulated. (minimum 72 hours notification required). Guidance Document
iii. Ensure compliance with Water Code section 10783.
iv. Ensure 3rd party written statement for no neighbors identified is submitted, if applicable.
v. Perform 72 hour notification prior to WST commencement.
E. Perform 3-15 hour notification to Division prior to WST commencement.
