Lyn is a seasoned executive in global healthcare and IVD markets. Since Lyn joined Yourgene Health plc in 2018 he has been instrumental in the transformation of the business. He led the group through four acquisitions including Elucigene Diagnostics and Coastal Genomics and the fundraising to underpin those deals.
Prior to joining Yourgene, Lyn was Group CEO at British Biocell International (now BBI Group) for over 9 years. Lyn has completed 7 acquisitions during his tenure at BBI Group, all of which have been successfully integrated. He founded BBI Detection and BBI Animal Health and has demonstrated a strong track record of organic and acquisitive growth. Before that he spent several years as the Managing Director and founder of BBI Healthcare in 2006 following the successful purchase of the GlucoGel product. He first began his business career as the European Marketing Manager at Shimano Europe BV. Lyn holds a degree in Business Studies from the University of Wales.
Lyn is also a Non-executive Director with MyHealthChecked plc.

I notice that the Chief Operating Officer is open to work. In terms of senior leadership, becoming more and more weighted towards the finance piece, less so the commercial and operational aspects. As usual we've no idea what's going on!

With regards the R&D split between H1 and H2, Daryl Borley stated that he submitted 12 tests to the regulator before the deadline of 1 June. Also, H1 2022 there was continued R&D into COVID testing.
In early summer 2020, the results of the PPE shopping spree became clear. Only then did the Government stop to factor in how much PPE healthcare services were actually using. The answer was 503 million bits of PPE a month. But even at that prodigious rate, the Government realised it had ordered enough to last five years. Like desert rains, the deluge of contracts ended as rapidly as it had begun.
