That's true, they'd know by now if their initial findings were in fact dud. The longer the testing takes, the better. They won't want to fxck around longer than necessary with a dud well. The stem test tool itself won't be cheap. You have different rates, storage rate, transit rate and operational rates (as far as I am aware). So the longer it is down the hole on max rate, the more money they burn.
They'll get the well cased n cemented over the weekend, all boxes ticked for a jolly good, cork popping Monday RNS
