Let's hope for a nice rise this afternoon, slowly seeing my portfolio of stocks turning blue from a dreadful couple of days..
Can only hope the markets recover the 2nd half of the week... if not next week.
Shame as all was going rather well and i have seen no obvious bad news to see why they should be falling - maybe the rise was just too fast?

I think many on here are very much this is a gamble, to be fair much of the market is; however this is more than the average stock at present.
My view is, I came in cheap 4.7 - I have a figure i am happy to sell out on if needed and still make a profit!
As long as this share is being bought and sold, there is an opportunity to make money. The issue is for those that are long that purchased it >£1, i think it will be close to impossible to see this figure again, at least in the next few years if everything came good for INTU - but never say never!
It's all good and well preaching that you saw the fall coming, but would you preach so much if the share went up to £2? Probably not..

Sometimes you need to let people do their own thing, their own way, there will always be winners and losers in the markets, its part of the merry go round!

No need to panic, markets are just having a few bad days to outweigh the good we have had, the drop is not specific to RR

To sell and then buy cheaper is an option for some, maybe make a few quid, maybe miss the spike back up? Choice is yours!
My view, for RR and all my others is to hold, let the storm pass - hopefully end of week / next week when more restrictions are lifted will bring more blue days and rises.

The important thing is there is interest in RR, we saw that by the spike up and over £4.

I'm still laughing over that "pigs my fly if it hits £3.5 by Friday"... It's left £3.5 well behind and got some decent footing on the £4 ladder.. 15% up, seems the Market is loving RR.

Let's hope this continues to rise, I feel that the company reducing costs has also had a major impact on the SP.

All you gotta do is look at the top 4 performing shares in the FTSE 100 today, all relate to Travel..

The market is gearing up for Travel to start in the next few weeks globally, only real bad news or C19 2nd spike can set us back.

Not sure about seeing £6+ in the near future, would love to of course. But realistically why not £5 in the next 10 weeks?
We already saw it touching £4.04 today. I suspect the profit takers will reduce this down to £3.95 ish this afternoon and then hopefully see a further spike up after US open's and as we get to the end of the day.

Only concern is the market has been on the up for so many days now, it's got to have a bad day or 2 over the next week or two, that will probably bring us back a little for a short while.

RR is more a long term stock if you want maximum returns.

Motley are just as speculative - They said CINE is not worth the buy and they recommended WHSmiths.
Since that email CINE is up 65% + whereas Smiths are like 8%...

Because the "junk" rating is probably not accurate. Many of the ratings from Analysts are Crap, targets well below expected, all pure speculation!
Better off just creating your own TP - I'm putting mine as a TP of £5 by August 1st! As good a guess as any other Analysts! :)

Realistically this should only be going up based on all the info and data in the market. Air travel is certainly about to start ramping up, even if not in the UK, the ROW.
Look at Airline stocks, they are on the up, IAG is 10% up today, Easyjet 7%, Delta on Friday was 5.5% and pre market is another 7%!
The world needs Airlines, Airlines need RR. A match made in heaven.

Good Start this AM, pushing nicely towards that £4 target, may even hit it well before the end of the month!

I think INTU should play the bas#£rd card! For the tenants that are not paying, don't let their stores open! Threaten to close the shopping centres until further notice! Sure it won't help INTU, but if they're going down, go down in style! Imagine telling all those brands that haven't paid that are in all their shopping centres "your stores with us won't be opening, we've a health and safety issues, gas leakage or something"! ;)

But seriously, tomorrow will be a good indication of the markets view, gotta be an RNS based on the weekends press, if only to keep shareholders informed of the speculation etc.

Would be a huge administration and could seriously rock the boat for many other landlords in the retail industry.

Plus a right ballache for the bond holder's, who would be stuck with assets that they wouldn't be able to shift in a hurry and stuck with Tennant's who don't wanna pay rent. Easier to leave it to Intu to try and make a break of it.

18 months standstill agreement would see this stock rocket I feel. And why bring in DH if they knew he couldn't work some magic? Seems strange him going to that role for a matter of weeks / months!

I get it's a RR thread, but people are entitled to talk about other things on here, just as you're entitled to ignore and not read the posts!
I have a strange feeling you're quite bitter, probably an old man, retired I'd say at a guess. I imagine you actually worked for RR for 30/40 years, one trick pony, institutionalised, got a few promotions, had a team underneath you that you could dictate to and bully, expect that in the workplace no chat other than work chat was allowed, suspect a sub par "middle" manager, got shares as part of bonuses/staff buy in, accumulated couple of 100k's worth and then watched the value go down over the last few months, now sitting on a huge paper loss and absolutely gutted the dream move to a caravan park in Benidorm is off the cards for the foreseeable.

Remember, everyone has to start somewhere, asking questions is part of the learning curve, sharing knowledge can be beneficial and valuable.

It's a public forum where the public can discuss ideas and thoughts, it's not like anyone on here you're moaning about are actually trolling and causing a nuisance!

If you're such a Pro Trader and everyone else are such novice's, wouldn't it suit you more to come of a public forum and have your investment chat on Bloomberg or refinitiv platforms?

There was a 2.5M trade cancelled near COP.
However I see a trade for a buy over 1M shares did go through.
Let's hope a big rise next week.

So a medium contract is 6M - 50M
*Lamprell defines a very large contract as having a value in excess of USD 150 million
So assuming a large contract is 51M to 149M?
Wonder how big a very large contract can go to? $150M to ???
Anyone have any idea what this order would cost in the industry? Are we talking 200M or 500M?
Would love to know the exact costs.
