We don't want Maliki in charge of Iraq. His sectarian politics led to the rise of ISIS, and his incompetence allowed a few hundred ISIS militants to rout a significantly larger force of Iraqi army soldiers a decade ago, capturing Mosul.

America is also threatening the Iraqi oil economy if he returns to power, which doesn't look promising for the repayment of Iraqs enormous debt to GKP and IOCs. All the best to investors, if all goes well he will drop out of the elections and the delinquent debt will be repaid.

Don't want to post any further negative sentiment on this forum because I think there is plenty of it from artificial sources. But America is moving around 6000 ISIS high level prisoners into Iraq. Let's hope there isn't going to be a small scale repeat of 2014.

The Russians have reduced their share in the Kurdistan Pipeline Company to 49% from 60% to avoid sanctions mainly. I don't think the Russians foresee any major issues, otherwise they wouldn't keep 49%. I've been investing in GKP for about four years selling frequently at the £2-£3 range and for once I am very hesitant to sell my shares, especially considering that GKP was hovering at £2 even before pipeline resumption. All the best to investors and touch wood next year sees a serious turn of fortune, or perhaps even sooner.

While I agree there are definitely people with multiple accounts trying to suppress the price of the stock across a few platforms, I am not one of them. I only coined the new term Turdistan previously because I was getting tired of the constant "pipeline is opening, pipeline will remain closed" news articles every week. I think we are all hoping for a speedy resumption of oil exports.
