This company are not d!cking about, and are serious competition for us. We're in a development race to prove up our assets first, but they're way ahead, operationally, technologically & commercially. If Renergen come into the market, having proven up even a fraction of their potential resource, then there will be a glut in the market by the time we find ours.
Remember global consumption of helium is only 6bcf/annum. With all of this 'new' helium in the market, there's no denying that helium prices could tumble, it's basic supply & demand economics. Lower helium prices, equals less margin, less profits and a lower SP.
DM needs to seriously get his finger out before the new helium players in the market, not only steal our thunder, but completely change the potential economics of the investment case.
As it stands we don't even have a rig to do any drilling next year. DM needs to get some news out, and fast.

Bit worrying for us, as they have up to 12% helium shows in what looks to be a natural gas carrier and potentially 343 bcf of helium… over 60% more than our 138 bcf… that’s a lot of gas.
Bearing in mind global consumption is only 6 bcf
I’m thinking that if they prove this up, then:
1. There goes our appeal of being the largest prospective primary helium resource
2. There would be a dramatic glut of helium in the market which would push prices right down
3. Less appeal, lower gas prices, less profits, lower SP…
DM needs to get his finger out before other newcomers into the helium space, well and truly steal our thunder.

Let's be honest, there was always going to be people taking money off the table here, given the stated timelines last night.

People won't want to leave money sitting stagnant for several months, until we commence the shallow drills. There are other opportunities to make money before Easter next year, when I think we'll see a lot of money returning.

I have to agree with you Jim.

Although, I'm not sure it's in anybody's interest for CF, or anyone else for that matter, to fancy themselves as a Neil Woodford.

I lost tens of thousands stuck in his equity income fund, so by association, even that name being mentioned here, is almost an instant turn-off.

Will look some more into this company this week, but it does seem very mining exploration(ish), very binary, you either hit the jackpot or go home empty handed. Certainly not for the faint hearted.

Thoughts?

Well, to be fair Matt, there's no certainty that we have "the world's best and largest helium play".

It could be worth didly squat if we can't find and/or produce the free gas.

Obviously we're all hopeful that we'll be the new Saudi Aramco of helium, but the assets could equally prove to be worth significantly less than £8.5m. None of us know at this stage.

Nothing but sells for days just the MM's have artificially pushed this right up, just like they did the last time. It would seem that some people never learn, and will be crying foul when the pull back commences, which will be, 'healthy'.

United guy is the only one here that appears to not have cotton wool over their eyes.

This company has failed in everything it has attempted to do in it's short history.

This isn't exactly the only company in the world to be using nano-technology.

Everyone still here whimpering about their failed investment needs to open their eyes.

I sold out of here @ 1.4 taking a £20k/30k(ish) loss, can't remember exactly, but you know what, I've more than made that money back in other investments, and haven't watched in drop another 50%.

Sometimes you need to stop kidding yourself on, put on the big boy pants and accept you made a bad investment. Not every investment is a winner, even the best make bad investments from time to time.

You're wasting your time here. Before you know it, they'll have burned through the cash they had, playing around in labs so that cave can get a kick with his little experiments that ultimately will lead to nothing. I wouldn't be surprised to see another raise here within 6-12 months.

I've said my piece, will not be coming back in here for another few months, when the price will probably be another 50% lower than it is today.

D220, I think you’re wrong.

The RNS clearly states 206m shares will be admitted for trading on the 18th.

206m shares, ouch. That’s a 33% dilution to everyone’s current holdings. Not such a happy Friday here.

Some mega sells going through here since the 11th Oct.

Had this co. on my watch list, but with the PDMR’s selling at these levels, that should tell you everything you need to know about their conviction here.

Actually Noob, I think you’ll find that DM was originally going to go for an even smaller rig than one we ended up with, it was Mitchell’s that upped the capacity of the rig and DM was talking this up at the time, how great it was to have such a powerful rig, I think it went something like “having this much larger rig, means that if we get into trouble whilst drilling, it means we’ll be able to get back out of trouble quite easily”. It’s in in one of his earlier interviews. You seem to like talking in facts, which is a good thing btw, so the above are the facts surrounding the rig and who decided what.

IMO it’s great to have a CEO who’s prudent with company cash, but not to the detriment of the entire project. That just becomes wasted cash entirely.

Once, maybe, but twice, not to fulfil the statutory duties around correct filings of shares, is a touch worrying. PJ presents POW as a professional aspiring mid-tier in the making, so we should at least be able to expect that the administration of all things, reflects the sort of company he’s aspiring to become.

I’m long on POW btw, just in case anyone confuses this as a de-ramping post.
