Number Of Shares.23 Jul 2021 15:08
I'm a bit of a novice with share buying and learning the hard way. I'm thinking of investing here but a bit unsure of how much the shares, in real terms have gone down. I see that two big drops in share price occurred around June 2019 and November last year. Is that because of some Rights Issue or other share changes? In June 2018 the share price was 492 which is over a 90% drop to todays price. Is this a fair reflection or, for example have there been double the amount of share issued since 2018 and, therefore, in real terms it's a 45% reduction for example? Just seeing how much upside potentially there is here.
To a real novice, the accounts for the company seem really healthy with net assets increasing each year. 2016 at 7 million, 65 million at 2020. Debt although ten times higher than in 2016, the assets total isn't far off that figure for the same period.
Compared to some of the other AIM company shares I've bought recently, the RNS talking about good sale prospects going forward, this with possibly a healthy balance sheet and what maybe a 90% drop in share price from it's peak all sounds too good to be true in respect of buying now.
Can anyone tell me, in a nice way, what I'm missing as sure I am.
Many thanks.
