RE: "Lower end of range" meaning - feedback from an institutional investor5 Feb 2023 20:38
I'm personally looking at the sensing side. One of the things that might have been overlooked is that trading update said two validated materials, which reads to me that the SWIR material has now moved up a notch from scale-up, and both materials are or exceedingly close to being production ready.
I believe an announcement cannot be far away, and hopefully STMicro demonstrate more integrity than our "friends" in Korea.
Remains too be seen how well revenue will scale in sensing. The company clearly has plenty of cash and low overheads, but I think it'll be a long road before it maxes out (circa £100m) the Runcorn facility, if it ever does. I hope to be proved wrong on that front.
